That’s what I came to say…you’ve got everything in there, even the water chestnuts. The only difference is there’s no hearts in it and no cheese, plus it’s served cold. Plus, I don’t think there’s cream cheese in it, it’s just a mix of sour cream and mayo. That is my favorite cold dip of all! To serve it you take a whole round loaf of pumpernickel but you hollow it out and put your dip inside then cut up the insides and put it all around the round with the dip inside and serve. Omg, it’s the BEST!!!!! ❤ and the recipe is on the Knorr packet 😉
I eat like this. I have a few health issues and I find super small (apps like) meals a few times a day is so much better on my digestive system. I still cook nice dinners for the Hubby & Son, heck I even make our own *wet* dog food/that we put in size appropriate molds & freeze). I just feel better & have less anxiety when I don't eat Large meals. I could make the Family, steak & potatoes or a full holiday meal & just be fine over here in the corner with my cheese (or tuna) and crackers ...lol
yup 3 good one's you are sharing today, I still miss that sweet old lady Gracie Lou, I know you guys do as well. I love cats and dogs, but have a special place in my heart for all the cats I have had during my life. Love you guys, keeping you in my prayers, you are blessing us with your videos.
The Knorr Vegetable Soup Mix has been iconic for making a Spinach Dip for a very long time, back as far as I can remember (30 - 40 yrs ago?). It was usually served inside a hollowed out pumpernickel loaf. Adding the artichokes is a spin on the same recipe and I would probably prefer it with the ar5tichokes.
Mandy I made a cranberry pink salad for Thanksgiving and it was so good and so easy! You have to make it! You just do your cranberries the same way in the food processor, and put about a cup of sugar in it and let it sit at room temperature for 2 hours. Then add a 20oz can of drained crushed pineapple, 2 small containers of cool whip and 1 bag of mini marshmallows. Refrigerate for 8 hours to over night if you can wait. It's delicious! You can also make your own whip cream, but who has time! I just wanted to share that with you and anyone else who loves cranberries, but you really don't know thats what you're eating! Thanks Mandy for these delicious recipes! Have a blessed week! 💕
I can't wait to try all 3. I know that my boys will love them. We have appetizers on Christmas Eve when they're down by me. I've been looking to change up the same old same old. Whatever is leftover, I'll have Christmas Day while I'm in my jammies watching Christmas movies. They'll be by their dad. I'm definitely setting aside some of the bread and make bread pudding with it. I'm very happy that you're feeling better. I can't wait until Friday.
My best friend made her chicken salad with craisins instead of raisins. I’m not a raisin fan so the craisins were so good. Of course she sliced grapes up in it and a little crushed pineapple. It was so good. She served it with pita chips
Oh my goodness... you two are so truly adorable!!! I truly thank you for all the videos and recipes and humor and love I have found in ya'll. Blessings K. Tulsa
Mandy❣️I use the Knorr Vegetable Recipe packet and follow the directions on the back for the spinach dip (no artichokes in this particular dish), it is also over the top delicious! I eat it with pumpernickel bread cut into cubes. Sometimes even the pumpernickel/rye swirl bread and that’s a beautiful dish. Hollow out a Pumpernickel Boule and fill it with your dip mixture and that will make for a phenomenal presentation ❤
Thank You, this is the first time I have commented. Just had to let you know how much I love watching you both. The way you make me laugh, the times Mandy when things don’t go right for you, makes you so relatable and makes me feel not so bad about when things go wrong for me 😂 The way you support each other and the way you all tease each other warms my heart to see. ❤ wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas from Canada 😊
Hi Sabrina!! I'm so glad you commented, because I love getting to know who is watching. I'm happy that you enjoy watching. Fun fact, when I first started my channel I edited out all mishaps and mistakes. But that was annoying and I realized it's not being REAL. So now, I just bring y'all along for the journey and it usually includes a gazillion mistakes. :) Merry Christmas, friend!
I came across a recipe for Dijon mustard pork loin, with apple cranberry sauce and an apple cider glaze. Made it for Thanksgiving, and was gone long before the turkey. It was delicious, nobody could get enough. And it wasn't as complicated as it sounds. I should send you the recipe.
Mandy that spinach artichoke dip is perfect for spreading on chicken breasts and baking in the oven. 350 for 30 minutes covered; 10/15 uncovered. Try it. It’s amazing. Your recipes have helped me so much !!! Miss Gracie Lou too😢
Back in the day Mandy, Spinach Dip as well as Spinach/Artichoke Dip was always served as an app during the holidays. Knorr was kinda a big deal lol... and it's still the best. Peas and all. We all miss Gracie Lou alot. Cheese will never be the same for you. What a precious soul. I too do the majority of my shopping at ALDI and was actually there today for Sea Bass and Lobster Tails (seasonal buy). Love apps... I too could make a meal with just those.
@@kimberlygarrett5385 truly has come a long way! Now he’s in front of the camera, cutting up, AND eating cream cheese. I remember in earlier videos he didn’t even make an appearance!
Excuse me while I drool over that dark chocolate peppermint marshmallow.😂 I mean really anything dark chocolate is my thing❤. I just love you and Steven. Y'all are the best. So adorable and such a joy to watch. Wishing y'all a very Merry Christmas 🎄❤
Hi Mandy I just love your channel! You and Steven are the cutest couple. These appetizers look so delicious and I am definitely going to be making them. Love you guys, wishing you both a very merry Christmas!!!❤❤😊
Okay now. For somebody that "doesn't like cream cheese" (you know who you are 😉) you sure do seem to love every single dish Mandy makes with all sorts of cream cheese in it! 😁
Steven reminds me of my hubby! He has always told me which dishes he REALLY LOVES!! That’s a big help when deciding what to have each week for dinner! All of those Party Snacks seems really easy and looks delicious!! Thank you for your suggestions and for ‘Super Steven’! I love the looks on his face!! They’re priceless! 😉 Love to your family and God Bless from Texas!
I love your videos! They are just so full of smiles and happiness and great dishes/snacks. You two are so cute. You guys are the reason my hubby and I “TINK” our food or cups at each other. Thank you! ☺💜💜
I love these appetizers; I have been looking for something different and I am going to try all three of these! You two are so amazing; Thank you so much Mandy and Steven, for making my afternoon! Have a wonderful week! Blessings! 😊❤
I am absolutely sharing the boars and bites and the cranberry jalapeno dip with my daughter I'm sure she will make it for this Christmas she'll be so excited. Thank you for everything you do and how adorable you both are
I like the idea of the water chestnuts. Guess what I’m making this weekend? Im adding crab to the Spinach Artichoke Dip. Also, using pepperjack cheese in with mozzarella. Yum! (Along with Corn Chowder & Cheddar Bay Biscuits!) Love the other appetizers too!
I made cranberry salsa for Thanksgiving. Chopped cranberries, jalapeno, tomatoes, cilantro and green onions. All chopped in the food processor and added a little sugar to taste. So freaking good!
Steven really liked the cranberry appetizer considering he doesn’t like cream cheese I think you converted in Mandy.. I’m gonna try everyone you made. Thank you so much and Merry Christmas.
I have been making the same spinach artichoke dip for years now. It is definitely a crowd favorite and always the first to go! I have a recipe that is very similar using crabmeat, adding diced roasted red peppers and omitting the cheese. Thank you so much for sharing your recipes with us! 🌻
The spinach dip can be done in a Little Dipper- crockpot to keep warm while you’re entertaining as well. DAAAAANG miss Mandy!! All of those look super good!! I see you making them for Clemson or even hosting Super Bowl 😊 Thanks so much!!!
I make my own Boursin Garlic Herb style cheese using cream cheese, garlic powder, and a few other spice cabinet herbs. Mix well and let set in fridge for few hours. Cost about $1.00 or so for 8 ounces. Delicious!
I love spinach artichoke dip baked on a loaf of French bread with Italian blend cheese it's so good and definitely a crowd pleaser. I miss the cheese monster also 🌈 🌉
Oh, my word! Salivation express! I was tasting every ingredient as you were making these. Since you love Aldi, they carry a seasonal jam, Spicy tomato and chili's! 💥It's sweet like red pepper jelly but a whole new level. The chili is more like jalapeño or habenero. SO good! It would be great with the Boursin bites.
I’ve made the cranberry dip for many years. It’s requested all season long to any get together we attend. I make it year-round for us though. I buy extra bags of fresh berries and freeze them for year-round use. Definitely add more jalapeños. It really takes it over the edge of tastebud happiness!
YES! to the love of cranberries. I have 2 recipes that I go to often. Cranberry white chocolate cookies and cranberry pumpkin bread with orange glaze. I will deff be trying this out. Never tried sugar and cumin together. P>S>...you NEED! a new cheese tax collector.

I was just going to comment the same thing! Couple goals for sure 🥰
The Knorr mix makes delicious cold spinach dip as well.
I didn’t know that! I’m going to have to try that.
It really does!
I definitely want to make all these appetizers! They all look so delicious!
Could u use premade cranberry sauce (not canned) instead of fresh for the dip

Steven's walk away after popping the cranberry jalapeno dipped cracker in his mouth was the best reaction 😂
I was cracking up!! My husband I always laugh at how animated he is. 😊
Cranberry jalapeño dip? Oh, my goodness! I can’t wait to try that!
My name is Maria. I’m Mexican and I approve this dip!

Block of softened cream cheese with pepper jelly poured over it is a staple for parties around here. So good!
