They get each other on a much deeper level than i think Lando will ever be able to offer. Just watch the series. I disagree with you on this, respectfully. Lando is exactly who Simone needs. He can do what Damon can’t, and that is challenge Simone & hold her accountable. We saw it in s2 and fully in s3. Look at way she said “I want you” to Damon in s2, and how she said it to lando in s3: night & day. Her declaration of love to lando had waaaay more meaning.
