You can use sour cream or buttermilk. To make homemade buttermilk, simply add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to 1 cup of milk, stir, and let it sit for about 5 minutes before using. The milk will curdle, which is normal. The consistency of the batter may be slightly thinner, but it will work fine. 😊
The batter was way to thin using the grams of yoghurt listed in the description. I added Xtra plain flower to fix this. I think instead of using the grams it is better to use the same cup for all the ingredients. But nevertheless the cake came out nice and I was surprised to see it was a fluffy moist texture without sugar & butter. I always thought that these 2 ingredients make for the best cake batter. Thanks for the inspirational recipe. A mixture of outmeal flower & plain flower also works very well 👌🏼❣️

Oats are whole grains so it’s automatically healthier than white flour and is very similar to whole wheat.
Actually comparing to wheat oat flour is way more healthier and has more nutrients and low in carbs(compared with wheat) it can also easily get digested and keep you full it's not about wheat is unhealthy

I can't eat gluten due to digestion problems so the oat flour makes for the healthier option.
