Man. Iridescent is the one song that actually got me. It was such a sad song. It is even sad how Dark of The Moon was the last one to have LP. So this actually felt like a farewell. Love LP Forever.
Because it’s the last real transformers movie the other ones are more like a shitty filler to me except maybe age of extinction but still not one of the reals
Transformers: Dark of The Moon was the last movie I watched with my dad before he passed away in 2012. This song always seemed to complement my situation well and helped me through that rough time, even today. Thank you is something I won't be able to say enough. RIP Chester.
Lyrics: When you were standing in the wake of devastation When you were waiting on the edge of the unknown And with the cataclysm raining down Insides crying, "Save me now" You were there, impossibly alone Do you feel cold and lost in desperation? You build up hope, but failure's all you've known Remember all the sadness and frustration And let it go- Let it go And in a burst of light that blinded every angel As if the sky had blown the heavens into stars You felt the gravity of tempered grace Falling into empty space No one there to catch you in their arms Do you feel cold and lost in desperation? You build up hope, but failure's all you've known Remember all the sadness and frustration And let it go- Let it go Do you feel cold and lost in desperation? Been jobless for almost 2 years after graduation, just been denied my dream job after 5 rounds of interviews, and my mom has just been diagnosed with breast cancer. Definitely feeling cold and lost in desperation. Rest in peace, Chester.
I was planning on getting the chorus surrounding a semicolon in the next couple months. I think I need it even more now, but it's going to be a tough thing.
Listening to this at 12AM, with headphones on, eyes closed, all teary-eyed, just... contemplating life I guess. I know every single one of us, no matter what age or race or gender, is going through something and listening to this song just exponentiates all the hurt, anger, sadness to a completely different level. I don't usually write paragraphs like this, but right now I'm kind of going through a rough patch in my life. I've been feeling empty lately, like I'm not needed at all or like I don't have a purpose in life. There's this void in my heart and it feels endless. I'm not, by any means, suicidal. To all of you who are, please, please think it over. I know the world can be lonely, but you'll be surprised how many people on the internet can REALLY relate and resonate with you. You will never be alone in your suffering. Well I guess that concludes my venting
I feel you man, literally going through the same thing. This song gives me a special type of comfort idk how to explain it but it helps me be at peace. I also love it cuz it came out with Transformers dark of the moon ( I'm a huge transformers fan lmao )
My girlfriend of 7 years just broke up with me. This hole that im in is just getting deeper and deeper. I tried opening up to my closest friends but it was useless. I just came from drinking with then and now im in my bed and im having panic attacks. Ive tried tried re-arranging my poses but i still cant calm down. I feel as though my life has ended
The lyrics always make me cry, they connect to so many lives. Chester's lyrics always get me through the rough times, and always will. I hope they help other people like they help me.
Best song ever by Linkin Park. I've been struggling with Anxiety, Depression, and emotional conflicts/insecurities since I was 12, which is ironic because Transformers Dark of the Moon on DVD was my birthday gift (My birthday is September 14th, and the DVD came out on September 30th, 2011) but anyway This song is comforting and heartbreaking at the same time, especially at 3:44 because that's my biggest problem, at the end of the day I struggle to do this; let go of everything that's gone wrong, hurt me, or bothers me but I'm trying and that's all that matters. Long live Linkin Park, Rest in Peace, and Thank you, Chester Bennington and Transformers (1, 2, and 3 only) for making life bearable/better.
Much love and support for this amazing band of people, who've helped so many people over the years with their music, thankyou Love forever Chester Never forgotten ♥ ♥ ♥
This song is the antidote to betrayal, heartbreak, depression and loneliness. Linkin Park will forever be the greatest musical healers of all time. Rest your soul Chester❤️

I have never cried over any type of "celebrity" or famous music artist. But Linkin Park's music helped me through so much growing up. I was 5 years old when my dad and his brother introduced me to their music. They would blast Linkin Park's music when they'd pick me up from school. I was in kindergarten when I started liking them, and as I grew up I started seeing them as a musical inspiration. When I was 13, life handed me the shit end of the stick and I was faced with a tragic death in my family. And me being the oldest out of my two siblings I felt I had to sacrifice my feelings to show them that everything would be okay and I felt I and I had to be strong for them. My mom was dealing with the loss of her brother and my grandparents were dealing with the loss of their son. And my dad was trying to be there for my mom, so I felt I had to step in and do be there for my younger siblings. I remember listening to this song specifically, and crying because I had held in my emotions so much and this song helped me through so much. I am now 17 and still tearing up from time to time that Chester is gone. He was one of the many artists that inspired me to learn to play guitar and get into making my own music. I can't believe you're gone Chester, Rest In Piece
I lost my dad right before my 16 birthday i felt like sh*t. Linkin park songs learned me to cobe with it.i got several LP tattoes i got the same flames like chester an a lp soldier on my back. I AM A LP-SOLDIER.
After a childhood listening to nothing but country music, I began listening to rock in high school. Linkin Park was one of the first bands I heard and they were an instant favorite because their sound was so unique. Chester's gritty, soulful voice and Mike's clear, clean melody just made them one of the few bands I consistently would crank up the volume when one of their songs would come on the radio and sing along. Chester, you were the voice of a generation. Some, like me, found you in our teenage years when we were looking for an identity. Others grew up listening to you. Losing you is like losing a dear childhood friend, someone a lot of us never met, but loved and held dearly. You'll be missed by a world you were taken from all too soon. But your memory will live on in the people who loved you and your music. Your spirit will shine through every time a stereo is cranked to maximum over cheap car speakers, the driver singing along at the top of their lungs while they drive down a highway. You will be remembered, you will be loved, you will be missed deeply. And one more thing... Thank you, Chester, for everything...
Finns Chan I am still in shock he's gone. LP is the only band whose songs I've always liked to a large majority. Most bands, I only like a few songs. RIP Chester and I'm so sorry you felt this depressed that it turned to this.

I'm crying so hard right now. This months I passed a rough depression, and when everything was going worse and worse, this song appeared on my iPod, reminding me that soon this sadness will be all over. Chester, I will forever miss you. Thank you for helping me to get through depression.
I do agree with you Church, everyone says their going through depression, but its the mindset they put themselves in. Then they act like crying babies...
I don't like to admit I had depression, I went with the psychologist for months for it. I know that there are worse problems and worse situations, but what I had, really made me feel that bad. I'm 21, I have seen a lot of bad situations throughout of my life (and also wonderful moments) and I know there will be more, but this gave me strength to continue and that all will be over

My heart is so broken. I'm completely devastated. There will NEVER be another Chester. His voice was a powerhouse. LP has been one of my favorite bands for many many years. I was praying this was a hoax, but sadly it's looking as though it is true. And that hurts my soul. 💔
Dear future generations, Don't let this song die. You r gonna need this when you feel cold and lost in desperation. This masterpiece actually reminds the depressed me that I'm not alone. RIP Chester ♥️💔 Let's see how many listen to this masterpiece in 2024.
To be fair, Bumblebee is set in 1987, so Linkin Park would be out of place for the period. It does have some cracking 80s hits on its soundtrack though 😁👍
Sometimes, I listen to Linkin Park for the music and other times, I need to read the comments in a LP video. Everyone feels the same and that’s somehow comforting. Idk if anyone else does this.
Can we all take a minute and appreciate Mike's vocal in this song? 😍 Don't get me wrong, I love Chester and his vocals will forever be legendary but Mike's soft vocal in this song blew me away this time.
Indeed! The voice of mike and chester are so different....The former brings gravity and the later, vibrancy to this beautiful song and yet, both of them combined in a chorus(3rd stanza) - the result is mind blowing!
This song saved me when depression was looming over me as a teenager. I remember listening to this one night for the first time and just bursting into tears. And for the first time in a long a time, i felt hope. I'm better now, and i owe so much to Chester and LP in general. This song is a masterpiece

When I got the news Chester died it was from my brother. He casually strolled in and said "that dude in linkin park died" and I sprang up with a "what" and he showed me an article. I just choked out a "okay.. go" and then he left and I sobbed and then my mum gave out to my brother for telling me in such a chill way considering how much he meant to me. I cried all through dinner and after. I couldn't talk about Chester for 2 more days. . I've never cried over the death of any celebrity. Chester wasn't a celebrity to me. He was a hero as edgy as that sounds. But sadly no hero is immortal. But he's not really gone is he? He's with us in our hearts. Thank you Chester, for letting me grow up with you and your music
I went to one of my friend's dinner and there i was sitting doin' my own stuff and the guy next to me was scrolling through his whatsapp looking at the profile pictures of other people. There i caught a glimpse of a picture which kinda l;ooked like a guy singing on stage .. It really looked like chester... then i realised ... YEah , its Chester indeed. Then i casually asked him... hey ??? Why has he given Chester's pic as his profile pic ... I naturally thought that that guy had given his pic because he is probab;ly a fan ... but he ( the guy next to me) said , " Because HE has died " ... I WAS SHOCKED !!!!!!!!! I thought he was kidding but then I checked the net and the news was the worst one i had ever had so far ..... I felt very very bad that day ..... Hope you can understand how bad i felt
Chester wasn’t just a loss to Linkin Park he was a loss to all of us we never knew him in person but when he died it felt like we all suffered a death in the family
That line hit me so hard that i burst into tears, cause i try building hope in the end i've only known my failures and all of the people the i love and trust
I'm sure he did :) and I am also certain that where ever he is now that he's touched by that massive caringly bound among us LP fans right now and the love and support we give his family and friends.
Christian Maning I think it was losing Chris that drove him over. I don’t feel like it was a coincidence he died on chris’ birthday. It took an absolute toll on him and I think he was suffering on the inside those few months afterwards. Then when he was alone it was too much to bear. His own son thinks he planned it because Chester made sure to visit him beforehand.
To me, Iridescent is about having the perks of a great leader, being a great leader comes great frustration and anger with a sense of hopelessness and sadness. But with the help of those that count on you, you can overcome anything...(I just came up with this for a project in English class.)
This was a very inspirational video from the classic band Linkin Park. I have been going through alot of pain and discomfort during the past three weeks. This video from Linkin park showed me that my pain and discomfort shall pass.
Q1 and Q2 of 2024 were one of the hardest months in my life. Thank you LP for this amazing song which gave me strength to survive it all. Rip Chester you'll always be remembered.
My grandma passed away a year ago, me and my mother we took care of her for 4 years after she had a stroke. It was hard, like at 7pm you want to do something you like but you have no energy left. And I will always remember her words: "Don't give a damn about anything, just take care of your health, life goes so fast ..."
Why does this song remind me of the good old days? The days when this world still had compassion. The days when people weren't offended by absolutely everything. I could go on and on listing the problems with our society, but I'll save you the time. I remember those days, they aren't great memories because I was still young, as most of us were, but as the next generation, it's our job to fix what we've created. I can't go one day without hearing about people being killed, or someone taking everything they own for granted. This world lacks compassion and common sense, such as when people said "Starbucks hates Christians and Jesus!" All because they didn't put a snowman on the cup that will end up in the trash can 20 minutes later. People hate people, there are those who seek to harm others and for what? A utopian society isn't possible as much as I wish it were, I guess that's just the nature of man.
"In any war. There are calms, between storms. There will be days when we lose faith. Days when our allies turn against us. But the day will never come. That we forsake this planet. And it's people." - Optimus Prime
Well, that's another story. Michael Bay said he was done with the franchise back in 2011 that's why we didn't get AoE 3 years after DoTM. So, Primes statement is still true.
When I listen this song 7 years ago ....I didn't understand the meaning of this song ... because there was no pain and failures in my life but now after 7 years ....I understand each word of this song ... Time never remain the same .....rip chess☹️😭😭

I remember that day, when I had to go to work on a Saturday morning. It was early, 6 am if I remember correctly, and I was on a bad mood. And it was raining. The Thousand Suns album just came out, so I was listening to it constantly. This song came up, the sun started to shine through the clouds, but it was still raining. I looked up to the sky, I caught shight on the rainbows. Two rainbows, one under the other one. It was beautiful, with this song. I felt lifted up. Linkin Park songs were always like a drug to me. I loved them since I was 8 years old. I am truly shocked, and very, very sad. I loved all of their albums, all of the songs. I am ever so sad what happened to them. Rest in Peace Chester. I hope now you are in a better place. I'm just sad, you felt the urge to leave us, leave this World, so early and so sudden.

Lyrics:
When you were standing in the wake of devastation
When you were waiting on the edge of the unknown
And with the cataclysm raining down
Insides crying, "Save me now"
You were there, impossibly alone
Do you feel cold and lost in desperation?
You build up hope, but failure's all you've known
Remember all the sadness and frustration
And let it go-
Let it go
And in a burst of light that blinded every angel
As if the sky had blown the heavens into stars
You felt the gravity of tempered grace
Falling into empty space
No one there to catch you in their arms
Do you feel cold and lost in desperation?
You build up hope, but failure's all you've known
Remember all the sadness and frustration
And let it go-
Let it go

This song was a hymn to hope. It's tattoed on my skin. Now i have no words to describe what i'm feeling.

Best song ever by Linkin Park.
I've been struggling with Anxiety, Depression, and emotional conflicts/insecurities since I was 12, which is ironic because Transformers Dark of the Moon on DVD was my birthday gift (My birthday is September 14th, and the DVD came out on September 30th, 2011) but anyway
This song is comforting and heartbreaking at the same time, especially at 3:44 because that's my biggest problem, at the end of the day I struggle to do this; let go of everything that's gone wrong, hurt me, or bothers me but I'm trying and that's all that matters.

As if the sky had blown the heavens into stars
You felt the gravity of temper grace falling into empty space
No one there to catch you in their arms
Do you feel cold and lost in desperation
You build up hope but failure's all you've known
Remember all the sadness and frustration
And let it go, let it go.
Do you feel cold and lost in desperation
You build up hope but failure's all you've known
Remember all the sadness and frustration
And let it go,
Let it go
Let it go
Let it go
Let it go
Do you feel cold and lost in desperation
You build up hope but failure's all you've known
Remember all the sadness and frustration
And let it go, let it go.
THANK YOU! :)
+Say .What Thank you for your utter uselessness as I am never going to use these lyrics ever, you have wasted my time with this comment.
A lot of sadness and frustration in that comment. ^^^^^ Let it go.

Rip, Chester. You were loved by many fans, but most importantly, your friends and family...
RIP Chester 2024, we still miss you 😢
When I got the news Chester died it was from my brother.
Yeah, my dad told me that the dude in LP committed suicide
AnotherSocialReject he is like an Angel to me! I miss him and will always be a part of my life❤️
he is not gone....he is just taking a very long break but we will see him again one day❤ hope ur doing alright mate
airsoft 71 yep he's in heaven
Hope you can understand how bad i felt
many kinds of music will come and go, but this song is the only one that will be top on my playlist ❤️ RIP legend

Chester wasn’t just a loss to Linkin Park he was a loss to all of us we never knew him in person but when he died it felt like we all suffered a death in the family
A loss to humanity

La familia es primero
His body left but his soul lives on in our hearts. Legends never completely die.

“You build up hope, but failure is all youve known” hits hard..

But you've to let it go.
I really hope this guy knew just how much he was loved & respected!
I hope he did too...
I'm sure he did :) and I am also certain that where ever he is now that he's touched by that massive caringly bound among us LP fans right now and the love and support we give his family and friends.
I'm sure he did
Exactly
That sounds like Optimus Prime.
Try reading this again in Optimus Primes's voice.
This was a very inspirational video from the classic band Linkin Park. I have been going through alot of pain and discomfort during the past three weeks. This video from Linkin park showed me that my pain and discomfort shall pass.
Just wait it out , time is your ally , this too shall pass.
It's been 4 years already.
Gone but not forgotten.
We miss you Chester.
We always will
Rest here traveller, your journey through nostalgia must be tiring.

This is that one song of LP that made me tear up today. RIP Chester.
Leave Out All The Rest
Lost in the echo
Definitely Leave out all the rest. And then when you think about his other half listening to Valentine's day...
All of you can choose Leave Out All The Rest and it's okay. But I'll choose this anyday. This spoke to me more.
And I will always remember her words:
"Don't give a damn about anything, just take care of your health, life goes so fast ..."

I give complete support on this comment. Those were the days
+The American well said mate!
I love this comment! So true, well said friend!
u right man. I agree with you
+The American even though this was only a few years ago i completely agree, a lot has changed in 5 years
"In any war.
There are calms, between storms.
There will be days when we lose faith.
Days when our allies turn against us.
But the day will never come.
That we forsake this planet.
And it's people." - Optimus Prime
Tlk invalidates that quote...
@@_s-p-e-c-t-r-a_music_ true though
Well, that's another story. Michael Bay said he was done with the franchise back in 2011 that's why we didn't get AoE 3 years after DoTM. So, Primes statement is still true.

I never really understand the lyric , cause my English isn't good enough :v
@@donquixotefamily7302 basically in this song they talk about how the darkness (depression) should never take control of you, basically making you commit horrible acts you yourself didnt want to do, and should look for light, basically hope or help

But i'm crying
