Another great video. It would be good if Simon could explain the shaft specs and brand when he goes through the process in more detail. Maybe even a caption added during editing to show that detail.

Great video Simon. Watching you do these fittings made me drive 3 hours to come for a fitting at Precision Golf. Initially I was disappointed that I was not able to book a fitting with you but Tom (Field) did such am amazing job that I was lefted very impressed. You guys are world beaters. For my curiosity, why was the young lady not offerred to try a Titleist driver head? The GTs were probably not released at the time of fitting but the TSRs were probably worth a try?

The combination of launch and spin required meant we needed a lower spinning head than the Titleist TSR whilst keeping launch and up do the flight window with the Titleists at the time (whilst keeping forgiveness) meant the other models were slightly better. TSR3 might have either for spin but would have knocked launch down too much

Pity you can’t bottle that swing, smoother than an 18 year old MacAllan single malt. It would sell better than Red Bull and Coca Cola combined. I think all your viewers will be her fan club. Maybe you can follow her and bring us along to cheer. 👍🫶🏻🍀
The underlining feeling was she didn't want the Cobra to be the one that worked, mentioned she liked the shape of Callaway and a big hint at liking Titleist. But the numbers didn't lie and by the end she was beaming when she looked at the Cobra. Had the swing on slow motion, didn't matter which one, they where all the same.
It shows his golfers have preferences and in the past would have been less prepared to go with what works best but now players will go with what produces the best results. Wonderful swing though!!
Hi Simon - great vid - from your experience do you find fittings with GD shafts have a distinct variance, meaning it is easier to differentiate amongst the GD range vs other OEMS ? from my fittings more often than not most shafts don't feel to dissimilar but with GD i can always tell (maybe its the cool graphics) not saying its better but easier to like or dislike thanks
The flight variables can be quite small but the feel differences do mark each model out in particular. They are creating some more stout and lower spin profiles now and the higher balance on the CQ series is a great addition
The TD would be too low spin, especially on a toe strike and we needed to keep some launch for her as carry distance was the main aim to improve. It is a very good head though
@@scottbatula7392 impossible to tell yet as the head has not launched (another days or so until that) but will be interesting to test the head when it comes in soon
Fitting the head is as much about fitting for a players miss pattern as forces good strike and the best head option will minimise the effects of a miss strike which is as important (if not more so) than results from a perfectly centred strike

I wonder how she would do in the ai smoke TD max, keeps the Callaway appeal with spin control and forgiving neutral head.
