Voltes V Evolution Opening on HERO TV (2006)

GMA Network will air again today the live action version of Voltes V. Almost two decades ago, HERO TV aired "Voltes V Evolution," a redubbed Tagalog version of the anime featuring celebrities as dubbers. Here's the opening sequence of the 2006 HERO TV airing of the Tagalog-dubbed Voltes V anime. This is probably the only TV airing where the dubbers are introduced as part of the opening credits. Notable dubbers are celebrities Dennis Trillo (Steve), Sandara Park (Jamie) and musician Jett Pangan (Draco). It seems a full circle moment for Dennis Trillo for once again becoming part of the Voltes V project of GMA portraying Dr. Ned Armstrong/Baron Hrothgar.
