So. I am a currently level 44. I think lost desert is harder.. yes it sounds stupid..let mr tell you why! Lost desert has those pole jumps, which always give me nightmares. Sinking ship..if you fall and its still acid, you have a bigger chance to win. Also if you are able to do the ladder shortcut, it should be a win. The harder part in sinking ship is..if the lava entered the outside area and you are..lets say doing the second button outside. It happened to me, i got the last button but i was too late and the lava was entering my box.. My conclusion is lost desert lol.
Sinking Ship is harder. I know Lost Desert has some thin platforms but the angles are easy to memorize. Second of All, Sinking Ship's first two buttons is the HARDEST. Once you made a mistake, you're dead. In Lost Desert, you can still swim up UNLESS you fell at the thin platform and the water turned into acid. Overall, SS is the harder one.

Sinking is harder cause sinking had a pretty fast pasting and it has tricky jumps and it rises and it has only 5 buttons but still but the lost desert has a fast pasting too and it has 7 or 8 buttons and the lava dosent rise that fast except for the last room and it has very difficult jumps but i think still sinking and btw the sinking is long and the desert is long too and it dosent count if u beat it or not it comes for jumps rise speed pasting and buttons
Both of them are pretty difficult, but I think sinking ship is harder. As you know, most of the map is in that high high high high really freaking high ceilinged room, where you have to climb your way through a load of obstacles. You literally can never stop for a breath; you just have to keep going and going around and around up the tall, high ceilinged room. Did I tell you about how that room in sinking ship is really high ceilinged?
yes, but once you get used to it, this is the key part of the map, it's the ship's deck, where you climb up to the cargo section which is the smallest part, it's a really challenging and annoying map, but fun to play to spend

Ok rn i beaten btr and sinking apperantly that ladder shortcut has a secret and the secret is: Go on 1st person and go to the corner of the box that sticks out then you treat it like a head hitter! On btr i got carried all the way to the 5th room with the buttons causing you to backtrack a lot of times then is where i soloed it On Dark sci i got to the tech part and i dont know what happened but we both jumped down at the same time to get the button and both lost cause SOMEBODY tapped the 3rd button late as flip

Actually both r equally hard because the flood raises pretty quickly and there r hard jumps however if u wanna see how the whole maps work I Guess sinking ship is slightly harder than lost dessert but it actually depends on how u perform the jumps and how well u know the map;)
1 FLIPPING DISLIKE AAHHHHHHHHH Edit: Sinking is harder, Lost Desert would be easier for the regular servers but Sinking normally it gives you a lot of panic and focus and Lost Desert isn't a bit panic at all but the last room, the last room is easy to do so that's why I think Sinking Ship is harder. Edit 2: I suggest : DARK SCI FACILITY VS BENEATH THE RUINS | FAMILIAR RUINS VS SINKING SHIP | GLOOMY MANOR VS ABANDONED FACILITY. Edit 3: Also, Sinking Ship is quite long which make the player need focus more and although you can survive a fall but you'd be very close to the acid and sooner or later, it turns faster and into lava which means no mistakes should be done. Even if you survive after a few seconds the panic of you trying to get out gets bigger because the music becomes more intense, and if you do survive the panic would probably make you fall and you'd have about 50 air and you would die to the acid or lava. On the other hand Lost Desert, if you fall off early, you fall on the ground, Sinking Ship you go right into acid. And it starts off with water then, acid, then lava, the lava area is fairly easy and if you fall, there is a big chance of you falling onto a platform and with Sinking Ship, they are pretty small and the music makes you panic. And if you fall into acid it's pretty fast paced there so you could skip some parkour. And Sinking Ship eliminates a ton of people in regular servers but Lost Desert around half of the server survives.
Well in Sinking ship you fall into acid and if you fall immediately in lost desert you fall on the ground then water THEN ACID but in Sinking ship it's fully acid and there's a low chance of you surviving even if you do survive the panic will make you fall. Otherwise the last room of lost desert there is a high chance of you falling and surviving since the platforms are huge. And Sinking ship it's quiet small.

I find Sinking ship harder because the acid rises a bit too quick for me, and also because the water turns to acid super quickly. Lost desert is also hard but not as hard as sinking ship because the acid does't rise too quickly, the last room is what makes it challenging.
Sinking Ship has lots of shortcuts, but most of them are hard, like truss - button balcony | {for me} crate - ladder above your head | thin rope - plank, etc.
I think Sinking is hard due to the fact that If you mess up, you are practically a goner as for Lost, you can fall to your death but it's not as likely
In my opinion, sinking ship is harder because you need to have a fast paste, and there’s a certain jump I always die on. I only beat it when there was some weird glitch where the doors and water opens/rises slower (and it made it impossible to win abandoned facility).
easily saying before hearing ur opinions, it’s sinking ship. the ladder shortcut is patched and the tower section is the hardest, because you’ll have to listen to the music and the acid will rise depending on the music and if the music gets faster the acid turns into lava and the obstacles gets harder and harder
honestly Sinking Ship was hard one at the start with the intense acid and lava raising and made me feel so intense that I I kept messing up with the obstacles but I got used to it and started getting more pro-ish Lost Desert was also a bit annoying,especially the jumps,falling into the acid and etc at the the start but I got used to it and became much better at FE2,timing my jump,learning shortcut and etc
Here is my option. Between both, I would think Sinking Ship is a little harder. Let’s start out with buttons. Buttons: Lost Desert: Yea, it has 7. But seriously. Most of jumps there are quite easy. Sinking Ship: it’s ur problem with 1st room. Sure it has 5 buttons. But the 1st room is the part where I hate to get it(I speed-ladder on trusses). Third isn’t too hard. Fourth is just annoying sometimes. Flood: Lost Desert: quite medium-paced. So still. It is really not that hard Sinking Ship: Starts from slow-paced to the fast-paced. I always like constant flood but this can easily get me more of the times. Obstacles Lost Desert: haha. This. Some parts are not too bad. Some parts are just medium. Around Easy~Hard Sinking Ship: this isn’t hard too. It isn’t the obstacles that makes it hard. It is just the flood so overall.. Easy~Medium. Out of all. I now need to present shortcuts. Lost Desert: I can only find corner-cuts and small cuts. Quite a well build map. Sinking Ship: Okay. This has more shortcuts. Which can makes it go down a bit. The Usage: Lost Desert: Only 1 hard parkour. Rest is either easy or medium. Doesn’t have a part where you need to swim(important as this can mess up some if failed) Sinking Ship: I know, all is easy to medium. But do not let that fool you! The acid part, not done properly and messing up. Could just make you feels like you’re going to die. Which can be happened. Only 1st 2 can determine whether you live or not. Overall: Sinking Ship: 3/5(Flood, Button, Usage) Lost Desert: 2/5(Shortcuts, Obstacles)
And every time I make it to the last room of lost desert the glitch that pushes you into the wall always gets at that last room but I beated it one time with is good😀
Id have to say Sinking Ship. I always say that levels that mix tough platforming and jumps with fast floods are harder Sinking Ship is harder. Lost Desert doesn't have a good mix of both. What I mean is that Lost Desert feels more like a hard map with its pacing and like Abandoned Facility with its jumps making it the second easiest main game map in my opinion.
Lost Desert: 1st button: slightly hard jumps 2nd button: slightly hard jumps 3rd button: slightly easy ladder 4th button: really easy, just touch it 5th button: slightly hard jumps 6th button: easy junps 7th buttons: easy jumps, hard truss jump Sinking Ship: 1st button: slightly hard jumps 2nd: really easy, just swim across the acid pond 3rd button: really easy 4th button: slightly hard 5th button: really easy Now Ima judge which map is harder. Lost Desert has some easy, hard buttons but you might mess up and the water will rise. When the bass drops, the water will turn into acid. The next section gets slightly harder, when the music speeds, the lava will rise and you have to be quick. But it will be easy if you know what to do. Sinking Ship have some slightly harder buttons, the water will turn into acid slightly fast, and you have to be fast. When the music speeds, the acid will rise. You have to parkour really quickly, if you too slow, the acid will turn into lava. If the lava right on your feet, use the ladder shortcut from the box. The lava will stop just seconds and the lava will rise again, after hitting the 3rd, 4th button, you will get confused when the ship tlits and the lava is coming for you. THATS IT!
Soon, I am going to beat Sinking Ship solo and Sinking Ship will be the: 1st Insane map I solo 2nd FE2 map I soloed 5th Insane Map I beat When I play it in multi, the people seem lazy when I pressed the button but, I get very clumsy while trying to match Sinking Ship's pace. I always wiggle around my camera when trying Crazy or Hard Insane Maps
3 years later and I'm now watching this vid lol. I think SS is harder cuz you have to go really fast, kinda like Dark Sci Facility. It's like if you fail on a jump, you are gonna die except you can survive if you land on a platform.

Well in Sinking ship you fall into acid and if you fall immediately in lost desert you fall on the ground then water THEN ACID but in Sinking ship it's fully acid and there's a low chance of you surviving even if you do survive the panic will make you fall. Otherwise the last room of lost desert there is a high chance of you falling and surviving since the platforms are huge. And Sinking ship it's quiet small.

I find Sinking ship harder because the acid rises a bit too quick for me, and also because the water turns to acid super quickly. Lost desert is also hard but not as hard as sinking ship because the acid does't rise too quickly, the last room is what makes it challenging.
For me sinking ship is easy but lost desert is hard on obstacles

Sinking Ship has lots of shortcuts, but most of them are hard, like truss - button balcony | {for me} crate - ladder above your head | thin rope - plank, etc.

In my opinion, sinking ship is harder because you need to have a fast paste, and there’s a certain jump I always die on. I only beat it when there was some weird glitch where the doors and water opens/rises slower (and it made it impossible to win abandoned facility).

easily saying before hearing ur opinions, it’s sinking ship. the ladder shortcut is patched and the tower section is the hardest, because you’ll have to listen to the music and the acid will rise depending on the music and if the music gets faster the acid turns into lava and the obstacles gets harder and harder

honestly Sinking Ship was hard one at the start with the intense acid and lava raising and made me feel so intense that I I kept messing up with the obstacles but I got used to it and started getting more pro-ish
Lost Desert was also a bit annoying,especially the jumps,falling into the acid and etc at the the start but I got used to it and became much better at FE2,timing my jump,learning shortcut and etc

Here is my option. Between both, I would think Sinking Ship is a little harder. Let’s start out with buttons.
Buttons:
Lost Desert: Yea, it has 7. But seriously. Most of jumps there are quite easy.
Sinking Ship: it’s ur problem with 1st room. Sure it has 5 buttons. But the 1st room is the part where I hate to get it(I speed-ladder on trusses). Third isn’t too hard. Fourth is just annoying sometimes.
Flood:
Lost Desert: quite medium-paced. So still. It is really not that hard
Sinking Ship: Starts from slow-paced to the fast-paced. I always like constant flood but this can easily get me more of the times.
Obstacles
Lost Desert: haha. This. Some parts are not too bad. Some parts are just medium. Around Easy~Hard
Sinking Ship: this isn’t hard too. It isn’t the obstacles that makes it hard. It is just the flood so overall.. Easy~Medium.
Out of all. I now need to present shortcuts.
Lost Desert: I can only find corner-cuts and small cuts. Quite a well build map.
Sinking Ship: Okay. This has more shortcuts. Which can makes it go down a bit.
The Usage:
Lost Desert: Only 1 hard parkour. Rest is either easy or medium. Doesn’t have a part where you need to swim(important as this can mess up some if failed)
Sinking Ship: I know, all is easy to medium. But do not let that fool you! The acid part, not done properly and messing up. Could just make you feels like you’re going to die. Which can be happened. Only 1st 2 can determine whether you live or not.
Overall:
Sinking Ship: 3/5(Flood, Button, Usage)
Lost Desert: 2/5(Shortcuts, Obstacles)

Lost desert was actually my first Insane map clear and out of all the maps that I completed, Sinking Ship is my most recent.
Dark Sci Facility: Insane Fast pace, hard obstacles, alotta buttons

Id have to say Sinking Ship. I always say that levels that mix tough platforming and jumps with fast floods are harder Sinking Ship is harder. Lost Desert doesn't have a good mix of both. What I mean is that Lost Desert feels more like a hard map with its pacing and like Abandoned Facility with its jumps making it the second easiest main game map in my opinion.
Lost Desert:
1st button: slightly hard jumps
2nd button: slightly hard jumps
3rd button: slightly easy ladder
4th button: really easy, just touch it
5th button: slightly hard jumps
6th button: easy junps
7th buttons: easy jumps, hard truss jump
Sinking Ship:
1st button: slightly hard jumps
2nd: really easy, just swim across the acid pond
3rd button: really easy
4th button: slightly hard
5th button: really easy
Now Ima judge which map is harder.
Lost Desert has some easy, hard buttons but you might mess up and the water will rise. When the bass drops, the water will turn into acid. The next section gets slightly harder, when the music speeds, the lava will rise and you have to be quick. But it will be easy if you know what to do.
Sinking Ship have some slightly harder buttons, the water will turn into acid slightly fast, and you have to be fast. When the music speeds, the acid will rise. You have to parkour really quickly, if you too slow, the acid will turn into lava. If the lava right on your feet, use the ladder shortcut from the box. The lava will stop just seconds and the lava will rise again, after hitting the 3rd, 4th button, you will get confused when the ship tlits and the lava is coming for you.

When I play it in multi, the people seem lazy when I pressed the button but, I get very clumsy while trying to match Sinking Ship's pace. I always wiggle around my camera when trying Crazy or Hard Insane Maps

3 years later and I'm now watching this vid lol. I think SS is harder cuz you have to go really fast, kinda like Dark Sci Facility. It's like if you fail on a jump, you are gonna die except you can survive if you land on a platform.
