Andy surprised us, huh? XD There is a special CBP-Verse mini comic at the end of this episode. This episode on CBP: “What is this… uhh… Mr. Count?” - a very puzzled Hicks asked. “Here. I told you guys that dummy behavior can be steered, right?” - said the Count, as he pointed t a large screen showing a dummy on a truck rampage and asking Marge to leave. “This is one of Uncanny Valley’s most notorious baddies, Angus McAngerey, most known as Angry Dummy. We observed him as well as Deputy Rocky McRoll for this study. Notice how Angus’ erratic behavior can be set off by specific stimuli. All he needed was someone to drive outside his lane to start his antics.” A puzzled and slightly upset Hicks looks at the screen. Having grown t understand dummies and even liking them a little bit, he felt something was not right. “Listen… Don’t you think you’re treating them a little bit like… animals? Like, this looks like a wildlife documentary.” “By the way, how did you even get this footage?” - Nothingface asked, genuinely curious. “As you know, Uncanny Valley has a small human population, mostly responsible for keep society running there. You know, making sure electricity, running water and farming goes uninterrupted. Some of those are our agents, under the Observation and Conservation Bureau. Here’s the thing: despite Marge being in that bureau, I asked her to leave this room due to her… links to dummies. In fact, she is half-dummy, but I need to tell you guys a few things we learned, and New America seems to be unaware of when it comes to our plastic neighbors.” - the Count said. “We ARE aware of most of their behavior, and did studies too, but not like this.” “If you know so much about dummies, then how do you still think they’re to blame for harvest failures?” “Uhh… Well, only recently I found out this wasn’t the case… I guess you have a point. Look, tell us what you wanna tell.” “I was sent here to sort out the dummy war crisis… and to reverse a policy we had for over a century. The Council of Counts believes it was a mistake to isolate completely from the dummykind, and we seek to establish regular contact and diplomatic relations with them as a way to keep them under some sensible control. Maybe even establishing a protectorate, that is not outside the realm of possibilities… At least that is what I suggested to my fellow noblemen. They don’t seem too keen on that path, though...” “But that would be colonization, wouldn’t it?” - asked Capelli, interjecting. “That makes you just like New America!” “No, that would be protecting dummies from themselves… and New America. The difference is that we acknowledge their inability to govern themselves and we will take their well-being into account.” “The dummies are now fighting for their independence, so that clearly isn’t what they want. They like having their own place and doing things their way!” “Their way is wrong. Hopefully I can gather intel here that will let me convince my peers of the need for a protectorate… and that’s where you guys come in. I’ll need your suport on this.” Capelli takes a long, piercing stare at Hicks, clearly sending the message that he did not like what he heard. “I know what you are telling me before you even open your mouth, Capelli. I don’t like it either… but what else can we do? We’ll go along and see if the Count has a point, then we will decide on it later.” Capelli leaves without saying a word. “You’re still my subordinate, if you tell anyone or try to undermine this, it’ll be the same as treason!” “I’m already a traitor in new America, not my first rodeo… so bite me, punk!” Stay awesome! Holy smoke (I read the comments), that was Petrolhead! Awesome video. I loved it at the end - the truck explodes, blocks the road and the cars that stop immediately honk their horns at the burning pile of metal.
I'd really like to see what kind of carnage this thing could wreak if its flatbed were filled with those rocket engines ;) Well, not filled, enough to give it a damn good kick but keep it on the road
Haha! Well, it would be fun indeed! The only problem I see is that it's already too fast to turn properly! Imagine with the extra rockets! I will try it though, always into trying crazy stuff! Thanks again bro!
