*Trigger Warning* Therapy Sessions are discussed in this Vlog, with the intention of helping people know that it’s ok to not be ok & to seek help without any shame and that it’s important to talk and not build everything up inside. Also apologies for the sound being a bit poor in the intro it was extremely windy at Pontispool that day ~ I hope you can hear and understands it ok but any questions please do ask, and thank you all so much for your support with Vlogmas this year xx
Never change Tina, please keep being your authentic self. We all have our private and not so private struggles and it is an honour that you share some of your life and your wonderful horses with us. Particularly those of us who don’t have horses in our lives anymore and we have a glimpse of a world I haven’t been apart of for more than 20 years.
Another comment just to say: you NEED to keep reminding yourself that at this point you are an extremely experienced rider -you are literally only one step below professional but you talk about yourself as if you’re a novice beginner!! You came 7th at badminton grassroots your first time being there, you’ve ridden and jumped multiple young and top quality horses on the global tours. You’ve done so many things that would make me see you as an extremely strong and experienced/capable rider. You need to start viewing yourself that way too 😊
There’s a silver lining in everything and in this scenario knowing you have a five year old baby horse who stops and stands still when you fall off and isn’t silly or dangerous when you fall even at his young age is really amazing! ❤
@@LifeontheLeftReinI also noticed on his second go at that fence he was conscious of lowering his back end so much that he knocked it down because he was being so careful not to throw you again! Very clever and sensitive boy too, it’s purely just his young age that makes him full of excitable beans at this stage!
My dear, I've been there. There is ABSOLUTELY nothing to apologize for. Just remember, we love you. Hang tough my friend. While I can't speak for everybody on this vlog, I bet I'm not the only one whose "been there". Now, speaking for myself, I'm sending you a big hug, a shoulder, and an ear. Love ya my friend, merry Christmas, a blessed new year, and lots of riding that beautiful boy.
It is so refreshing to follow someone who is not afraid to show the reality of life. Often our personal lives can have more effect on our time with our horses than we realise. Self doubt is a menace i struggle with regularly . So glad you have Katie to help give you the tools to know you are doing an job and have the skills and ability to continue Enzo's training. Whatever changes you have coming up, know you with adjust and work through them one step at a time. I hope you manage to have some "you" time over the festive period to process the things that are unfolding. Sending love and best wishes 😊
Merry Christmas, Tina. Thank you for reminding us that "it's ok not to be ok". I value your honesty, and feel it a privilege that you share your truth with us. So excited for you and your beautiful boy. Sending love and white healing light for the other things that are on your mind. Relax, rest, enjoy. Thanks for an awesome Vlogmas!
I am totally here for waffling and wobbling and sharing real-life anxieties when you're comfortable doing so because it helps some of us (by "us" I mean me haha) realize we're not alone. Seeing others deal with confidence issues is so reassuring, though I am sorry you face those challenges. Thank you for being honest... you're so inspiring and encouraging. Happy holidays!!
Terrific video! Enzo is a gem. A lot of horses would not have stopped and stood still until you were back on your feet. I'm relieved you weren't injured and were able to hop back on and continue with the lesson. You're a fantastic rider! Happy holidays! 🎄
You never need to apologize. You owe us nothing. However, I relish the good and the bad because all of us have been there. You are a beautiful rider and knocks are bound to happen. Enzo is very new! And in terms of real life intruding into your vlogs- I wouldn’t want it any other way. As long as you feel comfortable sharing, I for one, want to listen. Happy Christmas! Enjoy your horse and don’t worry about “messing up” Enzo. You won’t. You are far too good of a rider and if anyone says they are never worried or if real life doesn’t impact riding, they are fools or liars. Watching back Enzo is so much different than Banks. You’ve been riding him for so long That Such a dramatic striding horse has got to be off putting!
Well, you got that first fall over with! Never a bad thing with a new horse, as long as you're OK! People often talk about being jumped out of the tack, but you don't often see it! What a hitch he takes behind! Cam's reaction was priceless. I know you were tense and worried--could feel it in your breathing! He's daunting b/c he's so talented and forward, but that's exactly why he's going to be amazing. And the best thing is that he's honest as the day is long and kind. His only issue is exuberance, and you can channel that. I say it all the time, but your best bet is to find a good BD instructor and devote some time to dressage. Once he is truly taking a half-halt, you can control his front and back ends, and you can quickly switch between bigger and little versions of the gaits, the world will be your oyster! Good jumping is as much about good dressage as it is about going over fences. 🙂 Anyway, don't worry about ruining him--there is zero chance of that! You guys are going to be amazing together!
Cam is absolutely amazing he's such a good teacher and a kind caring supportive friend and a good rider. Sounded like u hit the ground hard to and I bet your bums a bit sore. Your an amazing rider and your new horse is beautiful ❤
Sending huge hugs Tina - change is something a lot of people struggle with, I certainly do, and you are so right to highlight the need to talk about stuff to someone who understands and can help. Sending you all best wishes for Christmas and the New Year hon and thank you for all the vlogs throughout the year xxx. PS. Enzo is a corker!!
You should be SO proud of yourself Tina. You rode Enzo wonderfully and there will come a time when riding him will become second nature, as it is with Banksy. Always so difficult to adjust to a new horse, but you’re doing a great job. And strangely a relief to get that first fall out of the way! I hope you and Robbie have a wonderful Christmas and although it seems things are very difficult for you at the moment, you will get through them with the love and support of the good people that surround you. You are so lovely and genuine, and you are stronger than you know. Much love to you and your beautiful animals🎄⛄️♥️ xxxx
Merry Christmas morning from Australia 🇦🇺 Your fall was just one of many firsts that you will have on your journey ahead with Mr Ferrari but even the fall had positives to take away. Good onya for dusting yourself off and getting straight back into the lesson. When you watch the footage back, see all the good work you both did rather than just focusing on that one jump that didn't quite go to plan. Enzo has been produced so beautifully and it showed in his response to that situation. Look back at the past 12 months with all your achievements riding so many different horses and doing such a great job. Merry merry Christmas to you & yours xx
Oh bless his little heart! He did that completely by accident and then was upset with himself and kept his bum lower on the second... his little heart 💙
I recently got my first horse and have already had so many moments of self-doubt, but it makes me feel better to know that someone like you with so much experience, talent, and support also still has confidence wobbles and uncertainty. Horses keep us humble! Especially for those of us who always want to do/be our best for our horses. Thank you for being honest and sharing the journey even when it's hard ❤ Hope you have as lovely a holiday as possible!
What a star Enzo is! He has so much scope and athleticism. You rode him beautifully and you are already a great team. Can't wait to see what 2025 brings. Merry Christmas to you and Robbo! Have a safe and happy New Year ❤🎄❤️
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas Tina!! Loved vlogmas this year too early to have gotten through the vlog 😂 but I do hope you weren’t hurt after the fall and I saw the snippet on your insta of the therapy part and just from what I was I’m super excited to see more as I know myself and others do struggle with not feeling deserving of our animals and it a hard feeling to have I appreciate all the effort you put into your videos and content ❤
Thanks for sharing Tina. I'm so sorry to hear you got so much things that's going to be going on in your life that your not certain of how things are going to be for you. May I take this opportunity to wish you , Rob and all of your lovely pets a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year
Enjoy every minute with your horses. Life is very fragile. I had to have my precious horse and friend put to sleep a few days ago.he came in from the field lame on his off fore two weeks ago, I thought it was an abscess. However 12 hours later we were treating him for laminitis and he was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Unfortunately he took a turn for the worse and I had to say goodnight to him. He was only 8 years of age, competing at medium level dressage and we were hoping to go out at advanced level next year. I've lost my entire world over night. Take care of yourself and your precious friends.x
Condolences, Samantha, so very sorry for your loss. It sounds like you did all you could for your much-loved horse. Praying you experience more and more the comfort of happier memories. Every blessing for Christmas ❤
Merry Christmas Tina, love how you are so honest,so refreshing,we all suffer from mental health issues at times and your so brave to talk like you do❤😂
I GIVE CREDIT WHEN DUE, HORSE STOPPED AND WAITED FOR YOU, GOOD RELATIONSHIPXX TRUST DONT RUSH, HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER SOON, RIDE BETWEEN JUMPS, LET HIM TAKE CARE OF THE LEAPING, HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER SOON X
Oh T, I feel so bad for you sometimes. I wish I could give you some of my confidence. Don't get me wrong, I struggle in my own way. When you worry about undoing Enzo's training though, I wish I could share some confidence. You can't undo in one session anything that took months to do. If things go wrong you just regroup and do whatever the situation needs. You're so capable, if you could only believe in yourself. Ok, onto the lesson, I've barely gotten through the intro.
Aww Tina, I love following you as you keep it real, and you are one of us, You don’t let fame go to your head, you keep everything real life, So proud of you for speaking out xxx
Oh toots that was some smack, hope you arent hurting too bad. There is no reason to feel negative in any way over what happened so chin up. P.s. You flipping fleeeeeeeewwwww :P Those back legs are lethal!
If everything is glossy and perfect it is less obtainable for me. Riding and moving on with the love of horses and the sport is all the messy stuff too. I watch for inspiration and the real moments help me challenge my own riding insecurities - For which I have many. But pausing, breathing and finding balance is great advice in and out of the saddle. Blessings and best wishes to you and all for this holiday season!
My other comment is so funny after watching because I'm not nearly so brave about falling off. Could you share some of that? Him standing there after your fall! What a sensible boy! Very merry Christmas to you and yours!!!
Oh Tina I just want to give you a big hug and let you know it will be ok I know how you feel and I’m sure many of us have been there too please don’t be hard on yourself and be kind to you because you deserve it you are a wonderful women who has a wonderful gift to make people happy , you are like sunshine bright and beautiful . Enzo is a lovely boy cute and loving and such a good boy . Please dear friend have a wonderful Christmas and an amazing new year and I’ll look forward to seeing you both doing great things in the future . Lots of love from Oamaru South Island of New Zealand xox
Wow! Enzo is super dooper amazing!!! Definitely a ferrari. I'm sure this fall will be the first of many, but can soo see you winning the red ribbons 🎀 Merry Christmas and see you all in the new year ❤❤❤
Oh Tina I have just backed started my first youngster I could not imagine sharing it all with the public as it’s up one minute, down the next often messy and doesn’t always look great and people are so judgmental! Don’t forget You have been here with banksy and got through it. Don’t push yourself, do what’s comfortable, take your time and remember you are in control of what you share. You don’t have to share it all!!!!
Thank you for the realness to your videos! You are such an inspiration to me and my horse journey. I wish I could give you the confidence you so deserve! Don’t stop being awesome Tina!
WELL DONE T!!!! So great to see your mindset training paying off and now you and Enzo are going to be a wonderful partnership, just like you and Banksy are. Hope you and your animal fam have the merriest chrimbo 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
Merry Christmas Tina to you and all of yours two and four legged and everything in between 🧡 Enzo is so lovely. You should be really pleased with that schooling. He’s so willing and able. 🎅3:10 self belief…. As you standing there in your festive holiday hat… if you an believe in Santa for 8+ years you can take a few minutes to believe in YOURSELF 🧡 💪 13:00 you just got to believe.
Merry Christmas from Australia. I just arrived home from work and your video is essential viewing. As others have said, you are a capable rider and you deserve a horse like Enzo.
Hes just so athletic, its so hard going to a new horse regardless of age, i have been riding for years and i certainly dont think id be able to sit that jump, so much hind end!
Not sure if it’s just me, but when I’m that anxious, I NEED to fall off to relax into it. I know it makes no sense but it’s apart of it. I feel anxiety creeps up on us all! Sharing online would be even harder so nothing wrong with being raw and honest!
Merry Christmas Tina! Haven‘t finished the vlog yet but just wanted to say that it was great to watch from the get go - including the therapy session is great. Have never seen somebody doing that. I think many will profit from that. Thank you! ❤️
Great recovery after your very first fall on your new horse! I was also pleased to see Enzo have such a calm reaction to your flying dismount😱🙈 I’ve seen even well seasoned horse’s freak when a rider has an unexpected dismount. You are doing great with him T! Pat yourself on the back girl! Merry Christmas Eve to you, the ponios, Rob, the pups, and cats too! Love from California⛰️🎄🌧️🐴🩵
Only just started watching your intro, ❤you got this….we all need to remember that we have the tools and the grit to deal with anything life throws us. 🎉. Merry Christmas 🎉
You both looked fantastic!! I know it can be hard when you are still getting to know each other.. I just started riding a new lesson horse a few months ago and just yesterday felt comfortable enough to come off the lunge line… it takes time! But you should definitely be proud of yourself! You’ve come so far already! Merry Christmas to you and yours! ❤🎄🎅
Tina. I think that you are menopausal. It hit me so hard but I am slowly coming out the other side. I'm not saying that my confidence has fully returned but I am getting there. I had bereavement counselling after my mum died which has helped me work through lifes challenges x
That was quite a complex vlog. Some lows but importantly some great highs. It was a great session with Cam, and Enzo certainly was showing his abilities. Having just watched NohorseHan last vlog, I think she could benefit from the therapy sessions you do. Merry Christmas and here's to 2025. ❤
Tina, you are an amazing person and whatever you are going through personally, I know you will get through it, your a strong women and I admire your honesty in your videos 🤗 Btw I’ve fallen off my horse a couple of times as you do! And just like your fur baby, my horse Hugo stayed next to me each time ❤️ Have a wonderful Christmas 🥰
Tina, you are an incredible couple with EnzO, you are being SO Big and Brave every Breakthrough brings you to a new level, you look incredible with EnzO honestly, you can go slow and Katie is gonna help you through, the difference in you over the past few yrs is So visible, keep your team around close,😊 no one moves forward without the back up team, you looked fantastic today Love 💜💜💜
Wow! What a vlog! Love you for beeing your transparent beautiful you!!! ❤❤ Also realy love Enzo!!! You're gonna be fabulouse together in the future!!! So promising!!! ❤❤ Of coure you need time to work eachother out properly, but the bond is already there!!! ❤❤
I think you need to stop having others ride him…you need to be his sole rider and take your progress seriously…. One of the young women at y barn just came off today as she was jumping. Her air vest sadly didn’t work…but she was ok. Hang in there…

He’s incredible and such a sweet willing boy xx

You’re doing an amazing job…..! Stay positive !
awesome vlog Tina what a way to start Christmas Day here in New Zealand watching Enzo and you having such fun.
I feel you ! Currently going through things and been signed off work for the next month, bottled things up for far to long
You are so fortunate you can do that in the UK. In the US, they really don’t care if you’re fit to work or not. Take care of yourself and feel better
So so sorry to hear that. Glad you’re taking the time to care for yourself though and hope 2025 brings you more health and joy. X
On the plus side he stands still when you hit the deck
Such a sweetheart cx

What a enthusiastic boy- you are so lucky to have found him. A little bit of winter training fighting each other out and you will be on fire. ❤
We love you Tina.
💙
Well done Tina, getting on after that fall of the gorgeous Enzo. Wishing you a Happy Christmas and a Happy exciting New year 😊
WELL DONE T!!!! So great to see your mindset training paying off and now you and Enzo are going to be a wonderful partnership, just like you and Banksy are. Hope you and your animal fam have the merriest chrimbo 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

I agree...this pair will be awesome as long as Tina stays interested to pushing him to his full potential...which is substantial.

I might get a pair of horse jumps for christmas🙈🙈🙈
Merry Christmas Tina! Haven‘t finished the vlog yet but just wanted to say that it was great to watch from the get go - including the therapy session is great. Have never seen somebody doing that. I think many will profit from that. Thank you! ❤️
Thanks, Andrea. I really appreciate the support. Xx
Love you tina hugs to you for being so able to share with us xx merry Christmas loverly xxx
Happy Christmas to you too xx
What a horse!! I think you're really brave to travel alone when you have to. I'm that person who would just not go if my mom wasn't driving me.
Well done. God he's awesome and you guys are going to go so far!!
Just need reminding of it every now and again don’t we xx
@ we sure do. And this time of year is particularly hard 😘
Was your head OK? Did you bang it on the ground? Such a good boy for immediately stopping. Happy Christmas!! Thanks for all the fun vlogs!

Merry Christmas Tina and family
You both looked fantastic!! I know it can be hard when you are still getting to know each other.. I just started riding a new lesson horse a few months ago and just yesterday felt comfortable enough to come off the lunge line… it takes time! But you should definitely be proud of yourself! You’ve come so far already! Merry Christmas to you and yours! ❤🎄🎅
Big ((hugs)), hope you didn't dent yourself when you fell! 🥺
Merry Christmas!! 🎄
You two are going to be fabulous.
Agreed and excited xx
good job Tina for staying brave
Merry Christmas to you too xx

Early!
Speedy!!
It can take 1to 2 years to to really gel with a new horse.
I think you need to stop having others ride him…you need to be his sole rider and take your progress seriously….
One of the young women at y barn just came off today as she was jumping. Her air vest sadly didn’t work…but she was ok. Hang in there…
I’m not sure how or why you feel having 2 of my very close friends having a sit on him affect how I ride him?
@@LifeontheLeftReinI think he need consistency right now with only you….
