Hunting DANGEROUS game with IRON SIGHTS!! | theHunter: Call of the Wild

- Hello and welcome back to theHunter: Call of the Wild! After half a year of you guys asking, I've finally decided to do an iron sights only challenge. So yeah, no scopes, just skill baby. Let's get hunting.
My loadout this video:
*Malmer 7mm Magnum* (A beast of a gun, and possibly my favorite)
*.243* (The starting gun, and one of the best in the game for small/medium animals)
*Virant .22LR* (A small little .22 that barely makes a noise. Only usable to hunt class 1's, but with decent range and the ability to make animals go alert, but not run.)
*Miller Model 1891* (My favorite shotgun, a trusty 10 gauge that can shoot birdshot, buckshot, and slugs)

8:34 yeah but cape buffalo specifically are incredibly tough for some reason. the 7mm can’t get lungs. you have to use something more powerful

@@Rooster_Gaming it’s never worked for me no matter how close i was to the animal. what was interesting tho is that with 5 extra points of penetration the tsurugi almost got to the heart once

Nahh its bugged they get buggy some times I always use the 7mm and it always penetrates to at least a lung@@Rooster_Gaming

Fooster ran into the same Buffalo issue a few years ago.
That thing took an A-10‘s worth of ammunition and just walked… well, stampeded… it off.

I have recently switched to woth still play cotw some times but not as much I just like the realism and community around it mainly the deer and although the models may not be great I like the antlers and behaviour something that is does better than cotw
I usually prone n crawl if within 100 meters to get closer if i cant see anything thur dense bushes or forrests, made it to 15 meters between 35 meters however i feel comfy n ready take shots. Nice video look fun challenging 👍.

which mod allows you to see such specific stats in your weapon wheel?
I'm not super familiar with the game, but I noticed with your 7mm you were using a polymer tip bullet instead of a lead soft point. It could be the reason your bullets weren't penetrating.
