Bagpipes were often played by Scottish regiments when soldiers went up and over into no-man's-land to inspire the soldiers.
Battlefield 1 is so good congratulations to DICE who got this spot on ,some issues but overall great game i'm sure DICE know how well the community feedback has been .
They used bagpipes in WW1 when Scottish men were going over the top to encourage them to fight, so when you were playing I guess some Scotsmen were around.
The mix of live com and post com is really nice, we get your immediate reaction to an event and then a thorough analysis afterwards. Good video!
I've beaten every operation on the attacking side. It's a fun challenge to accomplish!

winning as the attacking team in monte grappa operations is hard tho. I've played it 10 times, 8 on defending times, and every time defenders won. Every game got into a stalemate on "that bunker" and ultimately defending team won. I've never seen the second part of that operation.

I was really hoping dice would do something for Remembrance Day.
It would've been nice but could have caused controversy. As well intentioned as it would have been, people would have criticised it for being disrespectful somehow.
Kaiser Alex I know what you mean but it would have been nice to get something like a poppy dog tag or something for playing on Remembrance Day. Just something tasteful and respectful to celebrate the memories of the fallen.
Agent New York Yeah I'm from the uk and there are at least 3 war memorials near me that say something like that.
Yeah and remembrance day was created by the Brits, but it is remembering all soldiers - including German - that died on the western front.
Maybe that's what the bagpipes were for.
The whistle and the screams and the "charge!" Noises when you take a sector is amazing.
This type of video of commentary and ts3 (that are real people / have personalities unlike Level etc.) is in my opinion the best type of video you put out. Entertaining, well paced and above all relateable.

How is he nailing these head shots from so far away without compensating for bullet drop? Is he zeroing the rifle for distance?
havent watched the video, but theres barely any bullet drop in the game
doxide the tank hunter rifle has no bullet drop. The other sniper rifles do, but not as much as in previous BF games

Jack, they did use the Frommer Stop automatic but as a machine gun, similar in design to the Villar-Perosa pick up. They had two of the Frommer's connected together and placed upside down. Then they welded a tripod to it all. Highly unlikely for a pilot to be carrying one but hey, it's a game!

Desert maps are my favorite for sniping because it’s an open map and you can snipe everybody, even the easy ones like the ones that use shiper shields

Finally experienced the Sand Storm during a conquest match on Sinai and its so insane how intense it is. If you head over to that really open area around G and F you can't see a thing. Saw a plan crashed down and followed the faint smoke trail to the wreckage and killed the pilot. Had no idea I was there.
Am I the only one who considers Suez the coolest/best map in bf1?

Hi Jack, personally I tend to just watch your videos that you record with a group for the banter and memes, rather than watching your live commentary for tips and map tactics. I like how you usually record live commentary and squad up style videos separately, because the mood of the videos are quite different and I think we watch each style of video for different reasons. You're a top lad and I've been watching your videos for a few years now, and those are just my thoughts and preferences.

Am I the only one who thinks this game aint all that interesting after couple hours? I dont know why but im not really getting anything out if this game anymore. Played BF4 950h without really getting bored but now I have played the campaign and 30h multiplayer but this got boring already? Anyone else feeling the same or is it just me?

Yes Jack, the Frommer Stop is a real pistol. Forgotten Weapons and LifeSizePotato have both done videos on it. Forgotten Weapons has also done one on the Mars pistol if you're interested.
The Frommer Stop Automatic was indeed a thing. Was usually mounted in pairs to a plane via a tripod, and generally not used by infantry though it wasn't unheard of.

We swept through this operation we lost seven men but on the final sector in Sinai Desert the enemy mowed down our first battalion. We stayed constantly suppressed from snipers. We went for the final but a dust storm blinded us. Butter was full of enemy combatants luckily I snuck up to a deserted armored car. I entered the gunners seat and cleared Butter. As we went for Charlie a tank layed covering fire so our assualt teams could rush in as support and scouts would spot and suppress snipers with mortars. We successfully captured the oil. I was honored and became known as Knight Bernard
