Everybody remember Nate Dogg for his gangsta rap collaborations, his hooks , and ( most of time) dirty lyrics hidden behind his smooth voice, especially on other artist's tracks. But i'd rather remember him for his songs like " One more day" . He wasn't only a pretty good singer, but also a talented story teller. One of my top 5 Nate Dogg's songs. 0% nudity 0% sex 0% cursing 100% real talking and talent . This is the Nate Dogg i want to remember. The one who used to talk not only about women, guns, weed ,gangster life, but also about his fears, his emotions, his family , even his personnal relationship with God, his issues in life... And i'm happy i found real gem in Nate's discography. And i listen to those songs often. Even if there are not a lot of them.
@@tyliekinc. if you really think that fame brings happiness, then you are living in a fairy tale man. Nate Dogg was basically a low-key man, a man of few words. He never really had legal troubles until he started to be famous. And then he started to drink and be a bad alcoholic( maybe to drown his sorrow smh). The rest is history. He tried to change his life at the end but unfortunately it was too late. As talented as Nate Dogg was ( and i like his voice and some of his songs), he was a sad man. Some of his songs talk about that. Look at his eyes in almost all of his pictures and see, don't we say that the eyes are the mirror of the eyes? No man, fame never brought the happiness. It's a straight fact.
@@panamecitypanamecity5855 I don’t think fame brings happiness. For example look at what happened to the cast members of Diff’rent Strokes on TV Gary Coleman, Todd Bridges & Dana Plato present themselves as a happy family but behind the scenes they had very sad & troubled lives. Gary was struggling with kidney disease which stunted his growth & he had to do dialysis 4 times a day in his dressing room his parents was forcing him to work. Todd Bridges was battling drugs & was got arrested in 1983, his father was abusive to him. Dana Plato was battling drugs & alcohol addiction, she tried to commit suicide in 1979 at a time when Diff’rent Strokes was having bunch of success on television but failed to commit suicide. She got pregnant in 1984 during the show’s sixth season & was fired from the show. During Diff’rent Strokes’s 7th season Gary had to get another kidney transplant which that kidney lasted only for 13 months so he had to do dialysis for the rest of his life. So I see what you saying now

No disrespect but this comment really isn’t accurate. Nate collaborated with all the biggest thugs of the mid 90s and was a crip, this era is the origin of gangster rap. R&b then and to this day doesn’t talk about that life very much. The 80s were when it wasn’t about thug life. I’m of Nate’s generation but just don’t like when people put down the present bc each era has something to offer.
