This week Matt and Craig look at IceBerg by Daniel Dorian Johnson. IceBerg is the minimalist approach to the ‘ACAAN’ effect where your participant visualises a card and a number in their mind. The card is then flipped over to reveal the card and number that they were just thinking of.

I love how Matt comes across in his performance style. Every trick he's shown, at the end, there is no "TA DA!" Most magicians end a trick and their body language kinda says "HA HA look what I did" Even Craig is guilty of this a few times. I KNOW I am as well. But Matt just.. ends a trick. It's like he let's the spectator just stew in the moment. I'm definitely going to work hard on this aspect, that for Matt, just comes natural. Awesome performance and Awesome trick!
Hi Craig, Hi Matt, job well done. I actually perform this as a mentalism effect. I recently performed this over zoom (its on my TH-cam Channel) and it is phenomenal. Craig, I'm surprised you wouldn't have an idea on how to make this when you know the ones made with decks, this is just a printed version of the deck order in 4 different setups, I'm pretty sure you could come up with this or something similar.
Now you are a real influencer Craig. I just ordered it because of you guys. And let me show an Idea of presentation. We can say thia card is shrodingers cat on steroids. In shrodingger box, the cat is both dead and alive until we open the box. Two simultaneous states of reality, now with this card, until we know the spectators card its all of the 52 cards in the deck simultaneosly. 52 realities at once. We tell them to open the card and they see what we are talking about, all 52 cards at once. But the number is what it will make it unique, and the number matches.

I would call this, any card at a forced number. You were instructed on how to get the "any number" and you didn't have the free choice as with the card.
You uploaded this a few weeks ago, it seems you removed it though.
The performance alone was used in the Top 10 ACAAN’s video, in which we said the discussion afterwards was coming in a Matt Test 🙂 none of the discussions were included in that video
