@@manicpixi3 it’s easy to meet people but hard to maintain/ grow friendships unless you’re constantly seeing eachother irl imo also bc i don’t really like texting. so most of my closest friends are in my dorm/ classes/ sports. also if your dorm has a dining hall, which mine doesn’t, it’s really easy to meet and stay connected. in the end it comes down you and this applies to every university, thousands of first years are admitted every year and everyone wants friends. i think specifically with uoft it’s its course difficulty and limited residence space that can make finding and building friendships a little harder.
