As the rarely sighted owner of an entire Chaos Dwarf army, I am happy to see them back in an official capacity. One of those is definitely getting converted into a Daemonsmith for my army. Excited to see the rich pickings for the Chorf players when the AoS range finally drops.
Give them some swords, shields, spears and axes and you have a great little mercenary band. I do want to replace the tea pot with a beer tankard though with the guy holding his finger up.
funny story: actually the bullcentaures are there to carry the ball. I mean, we can expect them to pick up or catch on a 4+ instead on a 3+ (which is average) but these are tanky (S4 instead of S3 and high armor) and they are extremly fast (6 squares + up to 3 on 2+ each with 1 rr for that each round. normal average is 6 squares +2 without rr) But dwarves just walk 4 +2. I mean alternatively we could give the ball to hobgoblins. 3+ for ballthings, 6 +2 movement, but they are squishy like shit... and btw, I love they details of the sneaky stabbers. jeah they are here to stab ppl. but did u see their daggers are actually little wrentches where they blacksmithed the one end into a knife? I mean in the lore they are just slaves of the chaos dwarfs and they got such a good prisoner theme with that, I love it^^
YAAS! If these guys are indicitive of the quality and design style of Chaos Dwarves for a future AOS release, the future is looking mighty bright for the Sons of Hashut!
Hey there! Great video and your presentation is awesome. For the first time ever I got a pre-ordered blood bowl team along with pitch, dice , both star players and the “big guy” yup the chaos dwarfs!!! I love the look of them and I wanted a different play style. Im predominantly an undead player but these guys really caught my attention. They will force me out of my comfort zone and I am excited to have them built and painted. I hope I can do them justice as I am not the best painter……. Not sure I will play the sneaky stabbers though as they dont seem worth it to me. Blockers and bull centaurs however look like a solid option. Especially in 7’s. Great looking team and enjoyed the vid 👏🏻👊🏻
These new models look nice and if I didn't have a backlog of the Spearhead box, ~2000 points of Seraphon, ~1500 points of Gravelords, and another 50 models all built and waiting for paint I would have them in my shopping cart already. I assumed/worried that Chorf enjoyers would feel slighted by this since what they want is a proper army and aren't getting that. But its great they are taking comfort in this and now have a real hope of getting a proper army again.
I have an entire metal and resin army for chaos dwarfs and it’s so expensive to get reinforcements for them, especially hobgoblins and special characters. This makes me so happy cause imma kitbash the CRAP outa the teams… as well as have one for myself.
I love that the Dawi-Zharr are getting some more attention. Not looking to pick up the BB team, but I’ll be voting with my wallet on the Chaos Hellcannon this weekend. They did nail the sorcerer look here though 👍
I'm still surprised GW actually acknowledged the existence of chorfs in any capacity. A man can hope for more chorf releases in the future, but a man shouldn't get his hopes up - not where GW and dwarf anything is concerned, at least.
@@augustocarnevale1900 ah yes, just like how 40k players should wait a year and half, two years ago, for the rest of their Votann line to release. Or how AoS players should wait another year and a half for an actual unit to be added to the sub-20 rosters of Fyreslayers or Overlords.
They're definitely coming to AoS! They were heavily hinted at in the core rulebook. However it won't be anytime soon. Going from the Roadmap, I suspect we're looking at 2026 at least..
This is definitely a nod to them coming to old world at some point further proves they have the sculpts & let’s be honest another edition of old world bringing in chaos dwarfs Kislev & other factions from total war will sell like hotcakes
Lazy chaos dwarfs imo. Only 3 unique poses and then a bunch of face swaps for the other 3. GW cutting corners and still charging premium prices. I can see why they'd do it for big rank and file like old world where everything blends in but it has absolutely no place in their low model count games.
My thoughts on the Chaos Dwarfs are 1) it's good that Tackle is removed, as it was unfair on stunty teams (and it never really made sense for slow players with short arms to be good at Tackle); 2) if the new positionals aren't cheap value, overall these might not actually be a buff to the team, as Tackle probably had more in-match utility than Iron Hard Skin for cost (assuming the Blockers won't get cheaper, which they probably shouldn't); 3) the roster has become more fun and unique; 4) paired with the AV10+ Iron Hard Skin dwarfs, it'll probably be better for the team's effectiveness if the Minotaur keeps its Animal Savagery and isn't changed to the Unchanneled Fury that Minotaurs have in other teams (which tends to hog precious blitz actions that Bull Centaurs often want to use); 5) removing Tackle makes the team easier than before to outrun and move around (as long as the Bull Centaurs are marked), so I think Coaches might want to consider Tackle in the list of all other skills they usually like levelling-up with (Guard, Mighty Blow, Stand Firm, on the Bull Centaurs Break Tackle etc); 6) I hope they keep mutations as no better than a secondary option, otherwise this team will be too complete and powerful; 7) while some people are saying it'd have been cool to get Sneaky Git on some Hobgoblins, they would then level-up with Dirty Player and add yet more to a team that already has a lot of strong assets; 8) I presume, and hope, that Iron Hard Skin isn't on the Bull Centaurs, unless their TV goes up a fair bit, as they're already a very efficient and potent position where part of the fun is how much you risk them running off unsupported; 9) the fire breathers don't seem massively useful so, if they reduce the maximum number of normal Blockers you can field, that almost feels like an interesting nerf (depending on their cost) ... especially for well developed teams where chaos dwarfs get great skill access to make ordinary blocks really good.

“CHAOS DWARFS ARE BACK FOR BLOOD (Bowl)”
Genius, I'm changing it now, thank you

They can definitely be used as Sorcerers!
BROTHER DAWI!!! I HAVE FOUND ANOTHER OF MY KIND!
I too own an entire chaos dwarf army, BROTHERS
@@zilla. HASHUT! HASHUT!
I ran a team of big hats many moons ago in the GW office league. These please me greatly. Good vid!
I think every GW veteran would shed a tear should BB ever go. Even those of us who never even play it. Long live the bowl!
The Goblin with his hand over his stomach. Reminds me of Styx, from Of Orcs and men, and Shards of Darkness.
Give them some swords, shields, spears and axes and you have a great little mercenary band. I do want to replace the tea pot with a beer tankard though with the guy holding his finger up.
Can't wait to get my grubby little hands on these
Man those guys are so great. Bring on more chaos dwarfs.

7:43 They need some pitch for the pitch.

Love to see Archer playing for Chaos Dwaves

@@jomonkey2758 im totally kitbashing some Blood Bowl Orcs to be Battlewagon Crew 😅
As a Slave to Nuffle (Blood Bowl devotee) these are great! On theme and also and interestingly new
I love this… though, to be fair, I was hoping for Bretonians… pipe dream, I know!

I love these and hope the AOS ones when they blast done the gates of Azyre look as good. I still have the original team from the 90's too.
Hobbos, not Gobbos.
Knowing how horrifying Chaos Dwarves were to face in prior editions, the addition of Firebreathers makes me wince lol

5/7, the hats could be bigger
Oh I am absolutely getting these, I do not care about Blood Bowl.
Why? Oh why?? Have they put bishop's mitres on them?? Beards are truly heroic but those hats?

0/10, these models look like they were made 30 years ago
You have an amazing beard
