For this application, the added hassle getting the imatch lined up when that bushing is in isn't worth it to me. If I was tilling acres of hard soil I would think about it but it's not an issue for what I'm doing. If I felt the need to have that bushing in I would build a base for the tiller to be stored on. Sometimes it will stay at the right angle when unhitched but most times it rocks back. It does that less if the shield in the back is lower but that also increases the chances I'll catch that while backing up and bend it. It's all a trade off.
