Ako me 2011 Starex from Pitstop ko nabili brand new. Now 268k km na mileage running smoothly, wala kalampag, malamig na aircon. Well maintained siya sa Pitstop ( medyo mahal lang) pero satisfied user.
Same problem I had with my 2016 Starex imported with urea. The catalytic converted need to be replaced to the tune of 155K. Fortunately was still able to sell it but provided the buyer with a thorough casa maintenance record.
Yes same problem… but according to Jerea Team, Kaya daw through De Regeneration… Catalytic cleaning … Pero No effect… Buti na lang talaga na I returned ko pa…
If you buy a used vehicle, don't worry about the dashboard monitor provided the engine oil LEVEL is OK, not leaking, the odometer is OK (optional), the transmission fluid level is OK, the coolant with water or pure coolant in the cooling system level is OK and has no leakage, the catalytic converter is OK (no strong smell of fuel), the fuel and air mixture is properly adjusted in the float type carburetor or in the pressure injection type carburetor, the hubs of all four tires are properly lubricated with grease, the tire pressure of all tires are OK, and finally the engine POWER is superb, DON'T WORRY. Used cars have plenty of FALSE ALARM. If you are worried because it will happen, the more you are worried if it doesn't happen.
Kaya hindi pa ko bumibili ng mga sasakyan na may computer box kasi pwede talaga nila madaya yung odometer reading nun na magpapakita sa dash, at isa pa: wala akong pang scan hehe! Kaya ang binili ko nalang muna is yung Isuzu Crosswind Sportivo :) Pero anyway, great content sir. Maraming salamat po sa pagsheshare ninyo ng inyong experience at pagbigay na din ng mga tips, lalo na sa hindi pagtitiwala agad kahit na sobrang kinis nung unit eh marami palang hidden problems. the gov,t should do something about meter/mileage tampering by passing a law making it a criminal act, in canada it is considered a crime although carfax and other sites are available to verify cars history, insurance companies, lending institutions and other parties use the data for cars appraisal and to detect possible fraudulent act by sellers and to protect buyers.

pit stop dealership nag originate ung starex. sana ginamitan ng obd scanner para ma check ung status ng engine, transmission, airbag and abs. then visual check ng mechanic sa mga oil leak at turbo problem na common problem ng starex. but sa case niyo sir meron fraud at in bad faith ung car dealership. tampered ung speedomter. pwede kasuhan yan
