Expand this comment for highlight times. I'm Marshmallow the player of this demo. Their name on CAL was EG.Girls iirc. I think they were one of the best women's teams in NA, but I'm not sure. Cath was on SK.Ladies which was a good women's team back in 2006 or so. I remember rumors that they were girlfriends with CAL-I players and would let them ring in matches (I believe Izabel was dating Storm?) but that was probably just salty cope. This was my team's last CAL season (S22). It was a close game but they played better. Izabel had some good rounds. Times: 1:10 - I get 3K usp + defuse. 2:00 - Colt 3K anti-eco in middle. 2:52 - I kill last 1 blue door from window room. Gunround: 4:08 - I kill 2 jungle arch. 4:28 - I kill 1 tennis (or lane, we called it tennis), HS 1 pit, then die to last 1 in site. 6:40 - We eco stack B and they rush it and we lose. We only get 2. I should've camped hallway watching the mini-stairs that go into B. 7:51 - Roof stack I get 2K. 8:08 - Disco and Cyber win the 2v2. Disco went apartment and flanked the gal in window. 8:57 - We smoke/nade dark like we're fancy but Smky gets picked off. Bad call on my part. 9:33 - I predict one will fall behind me in the pit but I aim too low and shoot her legs lol. 9:45 - Line and I argue about boost spots in A. 11:35 - My A retake attempt I only get 1. Fail spray at apartment spam spot. 12:38 - Disco nice deagle HS. 13:40 - Kill 1 who comes out of window room. 14:08 - Spam 1 through a box at B then die to hall. 15:42 - Smky and Line express frustration. 16:20 - Disco wonders if we'll win more rounds than we did against Pink Kittens, who recently beat us on Inferno. I don't think they were another girl team tho.
18:13 - I try to awp into CT spawn as I save it and they crouch hop around the corner + goosh me. 21:43 - I sloowly awp 1 tennis hiding behind the box. Guess I wanted to be sure. 23:10 - Awp 1 mid from arch. 23:48 - Awped bomb tennis from balcony. Should’ve had my crosshair at the corner and I could've won but maybe I thought she was window? She goes B and wins the 1v1. ------ 25:00 - 2nd half starts. Our T Inferno was never great but we somehow did better than CT. 25:13 - Pistol. We rush apartment, kill 2 without any of us dying but we find a way to lose anyway. 25:30 - Izabelt destroyed us with 4 kills. She shot my face from across the map. My fault for peeking. Should’ve been wiggling or hiding. She also got a sick HS on Disco who was boosted in the site. The demo kinda shows it. 27:52 - AK on MP5er by lightpole. 29:45 - I kill 1 anti-eco. 30:23 - I get 1 under window as we escape bomb. 31:06 - I kill 1 that pushed down mid. 32:13 - Izabelt insta-HSed me with famas from library. Ouch. 33:40 - Anti-eco 1 at B. 33:55 - Get last 1 in mid. A bunch of people start lagging with 100+ ping every once in awhile. 34:50 - They push down banana and I get 1, die to the other. I killed Izabelt, their best player, we should win the round now, right? Yes we do. 35:18 - Line kills Caroline through a wall in middle. 38:10 - I die to Caroline in B. 39:43, 40:08 - Our B fake “worked” in the sense we planted A, but there was still 1 in pit (we killed) and site (rocked us). Bad showing on our part. We lose. 41:03 - We rushed B and they pushed banana and we took ‘em down and planted. 41:32 - I get 2K from the boost hall. 43:10 - I kill Jess in pit then die from tennis. We didn’t flash pit before going so she killed Line. The quick tennis flank killed the bomb planter too. For some reason we insisted on not planting in site which is why I felt compelled to peek tennis and die horribly. Glugs almost wins a 1v3, but no. 45:03 - You know it’s desperate when we’re wrapping A. I kill a CT arch while the server spikes then Izabelt's famas owns us from moto pit. They had 4 A. They didn’t believe we’d go B unless it was a rush. It’s last round and we can’t even plant and the time runs out lol. GG. Thanks for capturing this. I wasn't sure if anyone would be interested but it's a nice little slice of CS history. I'm guessing there's not a lot of EG.Girls demos floating around. Now I'm curious if you'll ever do my demo against Texas Raised on Russka. Not lots of Russka demos. And it has a few clutch rounds and a funny ending.
