Hey Guys. Such an epic tale. I was able to to listen to your stories in a particularly bummed out mood, after a failed surf photography strike on the south west of Western Australia. The forecast had amazing conditions lined up, however the wind cooked everything! I was down and feeling flat about life, not having taken any photos from the weekend or even been in the water.
Such an awesome interview! Todd Glaser's work is absolutely amazing, but damn with questions coming from both Tanner and Dane, this was definitely one of the best conversations/interviews I've watched!
So much nostalgia in this conversation. To Dane’s point about waiting for the mailman and you get to grab this thing (a mag) that stands out so much from regular letters and bills. You tear it open and study the photos, put them on your wall, emulate their style, guess which stance or trick they’re doing (skate mags). And then to the other point of just going on a trip and seeing whoever you run into. The best was taking the bus into the city to skate and whoever you bumped into you would skate with and film with, just so much more organic. Such a different time and experience, and it wasn’t even that long ago! Great conversation! Thanks for sharing this.
