I've been the goalkeeper during this exact drill many a time and I can tell you from experience that it is HARD!!!!
Everyone wants the striker to score (his teammates, the coaches, your fellow goalkeepers literally EVERYONE) so it feels like everyone is against you
You know there's only 1 goalkeeper in the starting XI so there's pressure on you to perform and do well otherwise you're not gonna get picked
When they just keep scoring and scoring and scoring n it feels like you haven't saved one for ages, it hits your confidence and you start to feel like SUCH a bad keeper and things like that
And just in general, the intensity of it is REALLY difficult too.
After making one safe or picking the ball out of the net, you barely get a second to breathe before the next shot comes your way so goalkeepers that do this every day WOW fair play to you, I respect you and I take my hat off to you sir cuz that shit is TOUGH 😄
