Are We in BANTAYAN ISLAND, PHILIPPINES At The Wrong Time of Year

- Being in the Philippines during rainy season of course means that the weather can change quickly at anytime.
Did we come to Bantayan Island at the wrong time of year? We think maybe not. We did experience rain but as we stayed for eight days we definitely got a few good days of weather. However there were also days when we needed to cancel our plans.
I think it really depends on how much time you have to spare. If your time is limited to three or four days then Bantayan Island is a bit of a gamble during rainy season ( June - November) It's a gamble definitely worth taking though as the island is full of natural beauty and one of my favourite visited spots in the Philippines so far.

We've been in bantayan island last june and luckily the weather was fine. Try kota beach, camp sawi, baigad beach, there is also cliff diving in virgin island. For the restaurants, food was amazing in coucou bar and restau. enjoy your stay and be safe!

I can't wait to see your MG square vlog, we went there before and there are not so many restos. It was Dec when we went to Bantayan and the beaches like the Paradise beach, the water is so clear. Have you been to Kota Beach there is a sand bar there but depends on the tide. You can also check out the place where there are mangroves. I just don't know how they call that place 😄 We went there because it was the location of one movie here in Phillipines called Camp Sawi. 😊

Try Sambawan Island in Biliran.... it's paradise in the middle of the sea❤best view and overlooking...sunset is awesome 😎

Bantayan Island is beautiful 💚 The water in the cave is mesmerizing 🩵 The fee to get in is a bit pricey though. The secluded beach is stunning and peaceful. I was hoping for a longer video. I can’t wait to see the next video. Wow Andrew you favorite island! I wonder when you do make it to Siargao and Palawan, which one would be your fav? Will you be coming back to the 🇵🇭
It really is a beautiful island. I think.the price is higher now. It used to be 100php I think. I can't wait to visit Siargao and Palawan on our next trip. Have you been to Siargao?

Very nice. Will add Bantayan to the places I want to visit when I arrive in the Philippines next month. Only issue is the number of places I want to visit is rapidly getting longer than the amount of time I'm going to be there!

Well its always nice in the Philippines, the rain at least is warm normally.
But I was at the jumping spot also, and the water was always crystal clear, so maybe that was an effect of the weather

I saw someone complain about the cost at Ogtong Resort, but I thought it was worth it just for the beautiful view.
It was very lovely and I thought it was worth the price. However, I understand why some people think the price is a little too high. Personal choice.
Yeah, I suppose beautiful views are not exactly in short supply in the Philippines. 😄
Some interesting island: Caramoan, carabao island they’re near Boracay island,biliran island ,cresta de gallo…less touristy..✌🏼🇫🇷

That house you made reference to at the ruins: The owner was shot by his wife. He was flown by helicopter to get medical attention and died from his injuries. I believe that happened some time in the 1970’s.

Woah! When I went to Paradise Beach in May 2018, the sea water was crystal clear. Looks like a different beach during rainy season 😵
I can imagine the water being amazingly clesr during dry season.

Hiya! Great to see you two have been spared some hours of radiant sunshine for some cliff diving and a dip in the beach.
June to November are months typically included in PH's wet season. But we've recently been experiencing strong typhoons any time of the year now 🥺, one dire effect of climate change.
Anyway, I hope it didn't take too long to wait out the downpour at the end of the video.
