I must remember your masking technique just before paint. I'm going to use my friends barn, and unfortunately 15.7 rattle cans. Forgive me. I'm keeping the old battle wagon another 5 years or until car prices come back to normal.
@@brandonwelsh2743 I understand the value proposition but Fred had it out for the other dents and I guess for a few minutes more work it would have been nice not to have those glaring dings. But it did come out nice for a quick job. Good luck with the sale!
@@LI-FLKayakFisherman thank you, he is good with the Maxi so it would have taken hours to fix them. It was his call in on what needed his attention. Also leaving dents leaves the CRV looking “nice used” so we don’t really have to say it was painted.
Fred isn't one to just "throw some dough on it" and call it good. He prefers to hammer and dolly the dents as best as he can to use minimal filler which in most cases requires removing inner door panels or inner wheel wells etc. which takes much more time than. Repairing the small dings and dents in a vehicle like this will not increase it value. For a second car or students first vehicle this would be perfect.
$3000 for a CRV with 300k miles on it is way overpriced with new paint it’s worth $1000 tops in my opinion… and yes 3k for that hoopty is covid pricing
where in Billings, Montana can do this for me!!!! I have a 98 that i love so much but its painted LGBTQIA colors and I would like it to be more flower child gypsy girl ;) HELP!!! it was given to me and the best car I've ever owned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I live in a small town outside Billings, Laurel MT actually and the whole town calls it the rainbo car lol
CRV lookin mint as hell. I would've painted the front and rear bumpers though. give it a more premium look.
What a transformation. Curb appeal makes for a faster sale.
You are correct, sir 👍

Thanks Gary! I hope you are doing well.
Incredible! Fred is an artist in paint booth. I need to get my 4runner to you so it can look amazing again!
Fantastic and quick masking job...
Good man with good business sense.
Looks great! That's the car worth fixing up since its built a lot better than the junk new cars made today
Good stuff
Great. Video
Dang, those two dings on the hood and quarter stand out, especially with the gold paint. Why didn’t you use the spotter to pull them?
To much extra work for what it will be worth.

30 minutes tops to fix them and put them in primer.
@@keithclark486 still not worth it.
All in 1 day?? That’s a quick turnaround!
Came out pretty good all things considered. 👍🏻
Took 8 hours technically
@@brandonwelsh2743 working day of course.. 🙂
Thanks 👍
Would it have taken that much more time and materials to fix the obvious ding on the hood?
Properly, yes. Wrong no

Sure, it's a "1 day paint job", but it's a "Fred 1-day paint job ."
Looks great!
