For those wondering how Bryson is hitting his pitching wedge 175yd, of course he has a lot of speed but something some people are unaware of is his lofts and shaft lengths. All his clubs are strong lofted, he talked about it before too. So pw is basically a 9i, which is still impressive because that’s still 10yd past most other tour pros

Grant is a true “scratch” golfer. He plays courses all over the world and is consistently always right at par or a little better. Which is amazing. And this video shows the difference between how good a true scratch player is compared to how good one of the absolute best golfers on planet earth is…. The difference is about another 5 or 6 shots. Pretty amazing content.
Its amazing that most people, if trained properly and commit, can become a scratch golfer. But then that last 5-6 strokes as you mentioned, are just insane to concur.
Calling Grant a scratch golfer is doing him a disservice, consistently scoring under par on these tough courses makes him way better than a scratch golfer

One common thing for me when watching Bryson is that it seemed that all courses you play are really easy. But they're really not, it just how good you play that make it looks that easy, and this is crazy to witness.

I learned a lot from Bryson and Grant, l used Bryson's "find the straight putt line, to see how much break to play". My index is 9.2, shot a 74 today with so many close putts and a few birdies.
I hope that Bryson may see this post. I've been an admirer of his for a while because of his analytical mind with respect to golf and his seeming love for what is right. In short, my long time neighbor has a daughter who married a young man in the Clovis Ca area. This young man named Ethan is friend's with my youngest son. He gave my son about 4 pairs of Bryson's golf pants to my son (Puma logo and everything). My son and I still follow Bryson with even more attention being paid to his future. God bless you Bryson! PS. I also like Grant Horvat a lot and hope that his professed Christianity is genuine and I have no reason to doubt it. Just a quick addition, my son wears his pants proudly around the local courses.

That was so entertaining to watch, very cool. I live on the west coast of Canada and I grew up around the top players in the country. We shared the same coach. 3 of the guys I was around are now not only on the PGA Tour but all 3 are winners. I'll spare you the name dropping it's not hard to figure out who they are... I remember coming to the realization just how good these guys are one day when my coach said the following. He said, "So blank was working on something last night and went out to play nine holes at his home course, he shot 9 under for 9 holes." I was waiting for my coach to finish that story with....just kidding. Then I realized he wasn't kidding. These guys (and girls) are good, like really really good!
I live in Taiwan and often play early morning. The humidity here definitely can affect the distance up to one and a half clubs. We always check that because it can change up to 30% during a round

Bryson shoots 7 under and left at least 4 putts on the greens. Played like 12 or 13 under and made it look easy. On another level to most. Nice to see Bryson is so normal and no problem for him to play a few youtube rounds and educate the rest of us to how good you need to be to play on the top tours. How on earth did he not get one of the captains picks for the Ryder Cup !!!

I have always said that Grant is the most consistent golfer that isn't pro that I have seen in a long time , he was always the best golfer on GoodGood .
