None that's the answer. as for when they would finish it thats up to the devs if they add more features instead of just fighting, eating, drinking, and, stalking and communicating. Then they would make the game for console but thaws are the only things you can do in the game and that's it they would have to add breeding, seasons,babies,herds with smart AI,protecting, more different attack styles, etc ... Anything that would help make the game fun like a campaign or a good offline game mod.

From what i understand (based on Dondi's discussion thread on Steam), Sandbox will be removed temporarily after big updates to ensure the new features are tested. With Sandbox there aren't as many people visiting progression servers so it takes longer to get good feedback. Once the testing is satisfactory then it comes back up.
hypos are so cancerous. every server has them and if you progress you're pretty much just leveling to be their snack. people just become juvies and feed their hypo friends to keep them alive. small animals like Juvie shouldn't fill them up that much at all. they should be dependant on larger prey. being killed constantly by a hypo should be penalized by the game in some way as a damage to your stats or something. they're apparently in here as a test animal but they're already fucking up the game. dondi said eventually the strains will be acquirable by other means which he won't say other than progressing to it and it should stay that way. nothing is cringier than seeing hypos care bear rexes to hypos. dondi says the ecosystem wouldn't be able to support the hypo. that certainly isn't the case. he also stated how dying when logging in as a hypo isn't a bug, but he makes it so you can log back anyway. the only way to have him starve to death is to never progress at all and that takes away the experience from the game. Seattle 1 has like 5 hypos it's actually insane

No. It was a person who exploited a bug or something to get sandbox and playable hypo on his server. Thankfully the devs fixed it.
In my opinion, both the Default(green) and Grizzly(brown and white) skins are my favorites! I'm not much of a fan of the straight-brown one
