"Oh, call me Horace, please....and perhaps a little something for your chicken?" 🤣I replayed this part. And PLEASE revive the voice you did for Gwendolyn in future! I love when you do your short and sweet synopses, and sometimes I see I've failed to connect a couple dots when you do them. Applause!
Family was up at 5.00, this morning so they could get to the airport on time, son described some of our country lanes as submerged so a change of route but they made it ok and are safe at home now. I got up when I heard them about so I could see them off. Hubby surprised me by getting up and dressed to see them off too. Seems strangely quiet. having not gone back to bed fell asleep on the sofa, would have been better not to wake with a dog's elbow digging in.
@@Storystants I hope we can get to visit them in Germany before they spend a holiday here in August. (they need a cheaper holiday after last years trip to Japan.
I wish I could understand all the metaphors that Sir Terry is talking about... but would that ruin the story for me? Still my favourite Discworld =) I enjoy the Wizard series of books as much as The Watch, still not able to decide which are my favs! Equal 1st place =) As for being miserable about going to work... you were so sad at leaving all your kiddies at the end of term! if you make the pasta error again, just turn up the heat, stir and wait for physics to evaporate some of the water ;-) Or add spices and call it Spicy Pasta Soup!
I’m with Melanie- the Bogeyman as Tooth Fairy struck me as…odd. And slightly disconcerting. So, Mr Teatime (one word or two?) is still with us? I thought he was disposed of rather too easily.
That was rousing!! If you're trying to look pathetic about work tomorrow, it isn't working, but I guess that just proves how much good time off did.

Poor Mr, S, all your beautiful sauce gone! We've all done something like that when we're on automatic pilot.

Awwww! I bet it *does* seem quiet, bless you.
But… you get to start looking forward to the next visit now!

I'm into this mascot idea. What are your thoughts? Gotta be a cryptid, amiright?
