This might be the beginning of an arc where everyone has been turned into clowns, including SMG4, and it’s up to Mario & SMG3 to team up and prevent the Clownpocalypse and end it before it truly begins.
Honestly we can all agree that Mario getting obsessed with something out of the blue, and suddenly chaos starts to kick is easily SMG4’s best sense for comedy.

In this case, it highly likely that this story existed in the mind of Depresso, in a somewhat similar fashion to the Joker movie, although not to the same extent. It's possible that this entire plot was fictionally created by Depresso as he's struggling with something else in his head and judging how much that the final two shots are pulling from the Joker film, I think we can expect to see a bit more into the psyche of Depresso.
The Berdly theme music starting at 4:15 that symbolizes and shows all the citizens clowns was fucking genius. That was the perfect music to put at this point considering Berdly sorta acts like a clown in the actual game.
If it weren't for that rock, she would've either knocked down everyone in the castle or joined Mario and SMG4 on looking for a way to fix the whole mess.

Exactly my thought I'm with you on this one as this video ended weirdly with him going insane without anything happening after the video. I bet the showgrounds was orginal his place but gave it to puzzle vision to sell to smg4 as they might be working together as he most likely wants revenge. Might make sense why we see him living there as he doesn't have a cirus because why else would he be staying there or he's possibly just spying on them. The reason it didn't become an arc is because that would be the correct thing to do in this situation but SMG4 turned to a clown so it doesn't become an arc
Depresso, despite possibly taking a Joker route of evil, kind of seem equal parts menacing and not so much a threat. But who knows? This is kind of the third latest character to be introduced alongside Karen the cat and Kaizo, Saiko's friend and band buddy. And we all know what that means when new characters are being introduced.

Exactly my thought I'm with you on this one as this video ended weirdly with him going insane without anything happening after the video.
I bet the showgrounds was orginal his place but gave it to puzzle vision to sell to smg4 as they might be working together as he most likely wants revenge. Might make sense why we see him living there as he doesn't have a cirus because why else would he be staying there or he's possibly just spying on them.

The reason it didn't become an arc is because that would be the correct thing to do in this situation but SMG4 turned to a clown so it doesn't become an arc

Depresso, despite possibly taking a Joker route of evil, kind of seem equal parts menacing and not so much a threat. But who knows? This is kind of the third latest character to be introduced alongside Karen the cat and Kaizo, Saiko's friend and band buddy. And we all know what that means when new characters are being introduced.
