Wayne is a gentleman, humble, smart and such an asset to rugby league but we are littered with guys like Bryan Fletcher, hindy, the cheese and guys like Thurston.
Would be great if the media encouraged guys like Wayne to be on their platforms. Sterlo is very missed, rugby league needs more intellectual people like Wayne.
    Great player and bloke

Deserved a premiership to his name. Just to correct Junior on the 89 Bill Harrigan blunder. Mcguire wasnt at dummy half, he had no marker so he tapped the ball forward. Steve Walters was caught offside so Mcguire grabbed him and shoved him out of the way. Penalty to Canberra according to Harrigan.

Love some of these interviews…especially the early stories before they were footy stars and from the days where there was no social media. Wouldn’t mind listening to Ben Elias, Greg Alexander and Ricky Stuart…get it done champion 💪

From the wooden spoon in 81 to one of the best teams of the 80s
Absolute legend and my all time favourite player
An inspiration to all of us diehard TIGER tragic kids at the time

Frank Stanton rebuilt them, blooded the likes of Elias, Roach, Jack. 80s good times.

There really is only one Wayne Pearce and that's probably the way he likes it.

It would be interesting how Wayne could create a post career skills course for a lot of the players…you could see how that could dovetail into a journey for post rugby league education for many players.

Paul Langmack. Canterbury via Peter Moore and Manly with Arko ran the show in the 80s, Made sure they never had a player cited or had one of thier pet boys selected for Australia.
