Don't know if you're even here any more on TH-cam...I see this is an old video, but...nice job! I'm a relatively new Ham (KD8NJZ), and also a member of the SKCC. I'm very QRS at CW, but trying to work at it more. Working on my Centurion. I only have 3 QSOs thus far, hi hi. Trying to find the time when I can concentrate on copying while having a 6 year old son running around can be a challenge. Nice job on the video, and thanks for sharing. 73 de KD8NJZ
Thanks. No, I send better with arm off desktop. It is very comfortable if height of chair and desk are correct. It's pretty much the same position used for proper typing on a keyboard: right-angle at elbow(s); forearm(s) parallel to floor.
I love the little "dit-dit" sendoff, very cute. Good series, very informative on real-life CQ procedure and for code practice. Where in NJ are you, btw? I'm in the Elizabeth/Newark area and am interested in learning more about ham radio (I've read a lot but no license or real experience beyond SWL). I'd like to chat or email with you about the subject sometime if you want since you seem to be pretty experienced. thx 73
Thanks. I am in southern NJ, near Philadelphia. I was licensed in the 70's but only got back into ham radio a few years ago after a long absence. I was originally a SWL also. There is no longer a Morse Code requirement for ham radio licenses so we do it just for fun & skill.. Check ARRL.ORG for licensing & training info. You can send me an email via my TH-cam channel. 73
Thanks, you guys! More to come...

Era una exelencia la transmision de la telegrafia mi radio prc/1099 cw
Enjoyed this video immensely! Nice fist.
Great keying skill. It is very similar to Japanese keying method, Hando-shiki (recoil method).
Full break in!
Great video. Would it be more comfortable resting your elbow?
