Summer Would You Rather Rhythm Game

Summer "Would You Rather" is an engaging way for elementary music students to practice their quarter and eighth note rhythms in and May, June, and July! Students are given a choice in the rhythms they will be playing or clapping. Each beat of play is guided by a moving object and a stop sign signals the final beat of play.
To play:
Students will be given the choice between two activities or objects. They may simply sit and choose a side to watch. Or, to help get the wiggles out, students may choose to move to the one side of the room that matches their choice.
Teachers may choose to have students play an instrument, clap along, or read the chosen notation system, such as "ta, ti-ti", while the video plays.
This is a relatively fast paced activity. The music plays at 100 bpm.
