    This why I love this channel: You play what you are going to learn from the VERY beginning. I can't tell you how annoying it is when people talk for 8 minutes about what they are going to teach instead of just playing it. Thank you much!

    This is really lovely.
    The muting is definitely a hard thing to get right. But the results will be worth it I'm sure.
    Thanks again for being the best and often most challenging teacher.
    May I ask... I'm being looking at my nails length and grew them but find I get a sliding sound rather than a clean one. What would you suggest?
    Also I have Aquila strings on my tenor. I'm just not able to reproduce the bright clear tones as you do. Would it be worth changing them and if so what to?
    Thanks again for a wonderful lesson.

    • @MarcoCirilloUkulele
      @MarcoCirilloUkulele  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The sliding could happen because you don’t file your nails correctly. I keep a rounded edge and I use super thin sand paper to make it smooth. You should try … it’s all about experimenting. ☀️🎸

  • @brjplummer9415

    Hi Marcus. When you played that intro here, are you using the amplified output from you instrument ? Or is that being picked up on a microphone? ALSO have you boosted some of those base note by playing along with a guitar. I do love the rhythm sound that you made.
