This was abit more trickier then it looks. To use a sponge to paint with is not the same as to just cover a large space with a brush. But I have used this technique for two paintings now and I think I start to get the hang of it. Thanks Gerda for all the inspiration you give us!

A very strange process, but a beautiful result. I've never seen a process where you paint and cover it up so many times. Like I said strange process but the end result is amazing. Your poppies are just awesome. Love your painting. Thanks for sharing this with us. Kathy B.
Wow, lovely piece and really enjoyed the process. I thank you for adding English subtitles too, I appreciate being able to know specific details of what products and colors you use. Lol I got so caught up with the warm summer colors at the beginning that my first thought when you covered it with the white and green was, "wait...don't lose that lovely color!" Lol made sense after I thought about the finished painting would look like. I struggle with covering things up, even when it's part of the process for the finished picture. I'm learning how to get through that little bump though, it's mostly a confidence issue but sometimes it's that I don't want to cover a spot because I like the way the colors look. This is a great technique and came out beautifully. Thank you for sharing!

Ich habe viele Mohnblumen Malereien gesehen und es hat mich ständig gestört, dass die alle nicht richtig gemalt waren. Sie sind die Einzige, die es naturgetreu gemalt hat. 👍👍👍Alle malen irgendwelche weiße Stängel in der Blüte...obwohl es schwarze Samen sind. .. Habe Sie natürlich danach sofort abonniert. 😊😊

Rodi lembki Gesso ist und bleibt weiss, Binder ist beim auftragen weiss und wenn es getrocknet ist, ist es farblos
