    There's not enough teams. It's only 13 teams. So why would they allow more players to come in?

    They need to leave it like it is, you get better developed players with 4 years of college and the men's game needs to change back to this. Only a handful of players drafted early or right out of high school have ever panned out the rest never really got to develop into good/great players and the NBA is suffering for it.

    I agree completely. You can see the growth of a star and that team over four years in women's CBB. Men's college basketball, except for mid-late March Madness is almost dead to me. Too much chop and change in the men's game.

    I agree with Juju with that.

    Honestly, the talent depth in the WNBA is pretty shallow. We still see a lack of athleticism and skill sufficient to compel basketball fans to watch regularly. Outside of the top 5 players and perhaps the next 5, it’s a bit dull. That should get better of course but it will probably take 5-10 years after the younger women model their games after Clark, Wilson, Stewart, Collier, etc.

      I agree with your shallow talent pool point. Outside of a couple “stacked” teams that have depth, most teams seem to have 3 - 4 pro level players (maybe 1 star). Others on the roster seem to lack pro skills and athleticism. What happens when you add more teams? Either more international talent has to be incentivized to play in the W (bigger contracts) or we will see more disparity between a few stacked teams and everyone else.

    There have been many players in the nba who stayed for 4 years who were trash. Juju and others should not be denied the opportunity to enter early if they want. As they do for many other sports.

    Many NCAA one and done players flop in the NBA - whether from immaturity or inadequate skill development, I don't know. But only a handful have really thrived, in my opinion; so I think they should at least wait two years. Also note how NBA-ready European players tend to be. Why do you think that is?

    I know there are some podcasters and tv analysts that think JuJu is WNBA ready, but I wonder if the WNBA did an anonymous mock draft of all college players where JuJu would fall on the list. I wonder who and why someone close to her would put that thought in her head or is she believing the media who seems to have an agenda.

    These are PRIVATE organizations and they can set whatever rules for employment they want. NOTICE how no one is clamoring for college football players to leave early like thst? And both NFL and NCAAF has superior ratings over all other sports leagues that permit high school and college players to declare very early

    The reason women's college basketball is growing faster than men's college basketball is because of one-and-done where much of what we are seeing on the men's side is a grade above high school players. The best players never make it to their junior or senior years. The women have to stick around for 4 years so we are seeing much more skilled and competitive basketball...relatively speaking.

    It is a tough decision for all involved. Fan bases are generally built on college players who then follow them to their respective pro league. So I am sure the pro leagues would rather players do at least 2 or 3 years in college to build their fan base in order to attract that fan base, like CC did. Then again, these players are over 18 and eligible for our armed forces and could go to war, why shouldn't they be allowed to try to get drafted to their respective pro league. That goes for basketball, football, baseball, etc...

    NBA rating are going down because of lacking stars power. WNBA will greatly benefit from having players coming with huge fan bases. So keep it the way it is.

      Because of lacking stars power? Don't forget that It's just a 3-point contest with no post up, mid range or play calling, no rivalries, no real defense, load management and others.

    JuJu shot 7 of 19 and had 8 turnovers against..Maryland. 19 shots to get 21 points. JuJu don't need to worry about drafts right now.

      They were missing their starting pt guard. It's good. For samuels, she has to believe in her offense. MD was able to key on Juju because of it. USC has to work on spacing. But they still have one of the most talented teams..

      @@haroldchairs4434 good point. I love Malia Samuels, but she hasn't built that confidence yet. Having TVO gave JuJu more freedom of not having the ball most of the time, and also having someone to give the ball to so she can free herself up. Having a more experienced PG you noticed that JuJu's TO numbers are down.

    • @haroldchairs4434
      @haroldchairs4434 14 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@MonieMusic MD would have attacked TVO on defense. TVO was definitely missed. I like Samuels and Heckel. Samuels just shoot the ball and don’t be afraid to attack on offense. Heckel keep working on defense and running the offense. this team is more than juju.
