✅ Our review of Como Maalifushi, Maldives ✅
ISLAND : the island at Como Maalifushi is really beautiful with a truly relaxing feeling while you're biking around it. It's really not very big so you can easily move from one point to an other without the need of calling a buggy all the time.
VILLAS : even though the villas at Como Maalifushi are not super big on paper, they really do feel spacious and offer lots of privacy. The huge living room really offers some extra space to where you'll be very happy to chill out. We stayed in both beach and Over Water villas and could not tell which one was our favorite. So do not hesitate to try both, it's worth it !
Special mention to the quality of the bed as well as the super amazing shower gels / shampoo which smell like never seen before.
FOOD : even though not incredible, the food was good. Yet, portions were often very (or relatively) small for a very high price. Example : california makis served by 4 when all "international standards" would serve them by 6 or even 8. Compared to other resorts in the same price range, Como Maalifushi could therefore improve on this criteria, particularly for the breakfast that look a bit poor compared to others we had the chance to visit.
SPA / GYM : the spa at Como Maalifushi offers some of the best massages we've ever had in the Maldives or anywhere else (and we're very demanding / picky in terms of massages). We really loved their special Como Shambala treatments that is truly different than any other massages we've had before. Special mention to their amazing oils ! The gym is spacious with lots of quality equipment as you'll be able to see in this full tour and review of Como Maalifushi.
SNORKELING : we were a little bit disappointed with the snorkeling as the house reef is actually pretty small and we found the fish life / coral life a bit under compared to other resorts. If you love snorkeling, you might be a little bit disappointed. Yet, if it's your first time visiting the Maldives and you're not too demanding for snorkeling, Como Maalifushi will easily do the job for some little underwater tours !
SERVICE : service is extremely important when choosing a resort in the Maldives. In this category, Como Maalifushi did pretty well with most (95%) of its team being super friendly and efficient. Yet, we still had a few bad experiences with some of the employees who were not at the level you'd expect them in such quality resort.
Overall experience and review of Como Maalifushi 👍 👎 ?
It is a great resort that we can really recommend. With some more "advanced" food offering a better quality/price ratio and a little improvement of the service, it could really rank amongst the best resorts in the Maldives and surely offers an excellent overall quality/price ratio.

Thank you for your message :) Filmed with Gopro Hero 8 Black + DJI Air 2S. The resort was close to empty when we went there and all the time I flew it I made sure noone was around. Therefore no, noone objected about flying the drone but obviously, you need to be careful, privacy of people is important.
