    GREAT VIDEO!!! But now that I have a quantifiable number, I still need a way to qualify whether we are in "caution vs. panic" schedule mode. Can you give a range for the index values below 1 and above 1, or at the very least, a rule of thumb?

      Think of it like a grading system.
      1=perfect
      0.94 -->0.99 = A = You can recover easily.
      0.84 --> 0.93 = B = Recovery to get back on schedule will take some big efforts.
      If you are below 0.84, chances of getting back on schedule are almost impossible and your team needs to meet with stakeholders to come up with a new plan and accept that the original plan can't be met.

    Very informative video, thank you for sharing, Can i ask what are the addons you are using on excel ? And where can i get them if that’s not too much to ask

      With this metric, I did not use Excel to calculate the metric. It is all done in Microsoft Project and you look at a couple fields for the one task to calculate. Hope this helps!
