MTA Bus Company: 2023 New Flyer XD40

Taken 10/25/23 at Edson Avenue and Bartow Avenue, and at the Pelham Bay Park (6) Station.
Seen here is MTABC 2023 New Flyer Industries XD40 "Xcelsior" #9355 on the Q50 LTD making its way to Flushing / Main Street Station and to Co-Op City / Earhart Lane.
#9355 has entered service at Eastchester, which marks the start of the XD40 order for MTA Bus. These buses are identical to the 2022 XD40s in Brooklyn, and will be going to the Eastchester, LaGuardia, and JFK depots. This was the first day that this bus ran on the Q50.
