The Koreans definitely underestimated the Indian pair. You could see the smugness on their faces in the first game. What won the game for the Indian girls was their sheer determination. Respect and congratulations to them 👏🏾
Yeah but the type of play the Indian pair plays won’t last long in high level tournaments. They might be able to win against top pairs in first encounter meetings but once the Indian pair gets more attention, Chinese and Korean coaches will study their game and devise a new game plan to counter the chopping game employed by the Indian pair. Just look at Lin Yun Jun of Taiwan. He defeated Ma Long and Fan Zhendong when top players were not familiar with his game..but once they understand the way he plays..he’s barely reaches the semis anymore
The Indian players are already great, and they will become greater.
@@doctalk8682 I hate to break it to you but just look at Manika Bhatra. I watch her games a lot because I also use long pips like her. The problem is in top tier competitions long pips don’t go far except of course in certain occasions when the opponent is caught by surprise with the different tempo and variety long pips has to offer. That’s why she rarely go beyond the last 16.

@@shruti7908 not really.. I watch all tourneys . And from the way koreans were celebrating a good point with 'chole' didnt feel like they underestimated . its just that they got some doubt in their mind whether attacking was the best option since they were not converting many , bringing their downfall

신,전 조합이 많이 상대해보지 않았던 조합이라 적응이 어려웠나보다...
Ayika backhand pushes and blocks using thin inverted or anti spin rubber is making changes in rhytm and this causing fast powerful attacking player to miss the attacks sometimes, and then her sister finish it with backhand or forehand punch really well. Anybody knows what 'her equipment especially her backhand rubber and blade? what I think is she must be using thin inverted or anti spin rubber
Ahyika uses anti, Sutirtha sp. lastly, they r not sisters, they just share same surname

What makes you say that? She plays with an antispin rubber. She was crucial in winning this match and they have reached finals and you say that she is hopeless. What is your credentials?
Without her I dont think they could have won. She does the set up, her team mate does the kill. Great combination.

Yes...i think antispin rubber makes playing of table tennis looks like not fair..hopefully, ITTF / WTT should be fair in order wirh the regulation..
