I just replaced the broken plastic part between the screws on my Cardinal reel and couldn't figure out why the bale wasn't working correctly. Now I know! Thank you for making this video!

@@OrtnerJeffrey I just serched on EBay with the name and model of the reel for parts. If I can find the place where I ordered it from I will let you know. I ordered two because that's about the only piece that wears out or gets lost when you take apart to clean, which was my case. LoL!!!✌🏻
Without this video I wouldn't have gotten my Revo Inshore 40 in working order. The bail was sticking so I removed it and the bail trip bar fell off. I only know it's called a bail trip bar because I have the schematic which is no help putting it back in place, clueless. With your expert video the reel is now working fine. I just want to add anyone attempting this clear a large working area because the bail spring bushing and bail trip bar will pop off and you will be on your hands and knees looking for them and don't forget to cover the vent! Thanks man.
Thanks you helped me lots! I was trying and trying , all in vain, until I found your video. I also added the marine grease before I closed the whole assembly. I fish saltwater, so marine grease is for protection. Thanks again!
Dude. thank you. I thought for sure I’d gone too far messing with a reel. The spring popped out. Couldn’t find it. So I used a spring from a Lead Pencil instead. Without this video this reel would be on the shelf! Thank you! Fish on friend!

*Bought a 500 for an ultralight rod. It's very smooth **enjoyable.fishing** recommend casts great. One odd thing- the bale wire is a bit heavy diameter in my opinion for a reel of this size. But a great purchase.*

Thank you for this video!!!! Had two reels that were broke, thought it would be easy to swap the bails from one to another. Took the screw out and the small pieces inside shot out, never to be found again! Used the parts from the other reel and this video get my better reel back up and running!
Cool, i went searching for how to fix this myself when cleaning out sand from the bail connector and it all went flying! After not finding any vids myself, I spent 2 hours trying all combinations of fitting it back together until I figured it out. Glad to hear it helped u out.

Hello Jamie. I have two revo neos 40 for quite 10 years now. And for a long time now, both bails have a little play, a few millimeters when closed. I always did as you do but I don't understand. When I see your video it seems that the parts of my reels are not so used. Is there a trick when replacing the spring? Thanks
I lost that plastic piece, probably forever, do I have any hope of fixing this or do I have to get another brand new reel and hope it doesn't have bail problems right out of the package too, I don't have a receipt or anything but the bail was messed up from the factory, and I'm actually not sure if that plastic piece came in it. Idk, it's the last thing I need, and I'm running out of days to fish here in Missouri

Thank you, thank You & u-tube ! Iv had this Abu Garcia Cardinal x30 reel that was bought for me 2 years ago ! At the end of that season, we were out and got caught in a storm in the boat ! Anyway,someone must of accidentally stepped on the reel and broke the plastic attached bale connection that on the reel ! The reel was so new , I didn't want to give it up so I t Unscrewed it and the parts flew ! I found the parts out know way get back together ! I kept the reel and parts and bought another SX 30! I thought just for the heck of it to see if u-tube might have something on it ! Its been 2 years sitting in the closet ! And yep , there you were, it seemed like it had the same parts so I studied your video ! Yahooo , I got an extra reel for next season as long as my glue holds !👍👍👊👊🎣🎣🎣⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
