I think you should react to final space next that show is very underrated
Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated please! 🔎
I think my pick for you to watch would be gravity falls. I didn't see you watch that yet. I mean, i saw you watch the amphibia crossover of it, but this time, i really want you to watch the whole series.
@Riley Young19 You mean rick and "morty"
How About Tangled The Series and Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure Zamber It’s Such A Fantastic Show 💜💛💜
Fun fact: when the headless horse transforms into a gargoyle the background music is the intro song of the series "Gargoyles" also from Disney
I can no longer hear Keith David without associating him with a giant evil newt
Yep Goliath 😇😎
And it’s why Manny was voiced by Keith David, and his uttering of “I Live Again” like Goliath’s awakening
@@niefali Yeah, didn't really feel like a real ending. I mean I am happy about the result but I feel the third season/sequel series could have been a bit better.
Wooo
I also love how it was Donald that made Scrooge give up adventuring without a second thought. Despite all the crap he gives him, he truly does care about him.
He is, after all, Scrooge's most trusted ally.
Not Della
Not Beakley
Nor anyone else
Nope, it's Donald Duck.
The girls all of them are a reference to daisy and her nieces. They were used in the 3 caberellos before. Webby was not really explained in the original airing of ducktales and not even in the comics. She didn’t have a real personality just oh there she is. Disney really fleshed her out well.
Yeah the writers really flushed her character out and cleaned up the duck comics too.
Since the girls weren't developed characters, comic translations often mistook Webby and April and misnamed them.
God, I’m gonna fucking miss this show.
And those credits- they couldn’t have done it any better.
Honestly I think they could make many shows branching off of Ducktales. There can be a Darkwing Duck show, Lena and violet going on magical adventures, Gizmoduck series, and even one with Donald and Daisy taking May and June on there own adventures
I'll miss it too
@@brostarx This is a year late, but you know what I'd love that we're obviously never gonna get anymore? A branch off that expands on the less explored relationships in the series. Donald and Scrooge, Donald as a whole, Gyro and Della since there seemed to have been something going on given by the note he put in the manual before and... him being the one who most likely built the Spear of Selene in the first place. Come on, you can't tell me that was NOT a part of his "turned evil" list by technicality and for years he must've surely thought he killed Della by building that thing, too! Then there's Donald and Daisy, I need more of them, they are such a cute, fitting couple. I want to see their own adventures, Daisy embracing Donald's adventurous side and the both of them starting their own little adventure family or the sort- not to mention June and May were left as completely blank slates since they appeared IN THE VERY LAST EPISODE.
Also also- it might not change much but I still desperately need to know how Scrooge grapples with the fact that Webby is actually his daughter- and... that he basically has three of them in total.
So many missed opportunities... unfortunately, it was cancelled.
There needs to be some kind of law that prevents shows from being cancelled. The bad shows are never going to be cancelled anyway, so at least prevent the good ones from being so.
@@brostarx There is already a Darkwing Duck series
27:29 I like how Scrooge immediately surrendered and they didn’t do the whole wait till the last second thing. It shows how much he cares about his family
Same here. I also liked how that moment was used to show how much Donald and Scrooge love each other and despite all the jabs they take at each other how much Scrooge values Donald. Donald was the most trusted ally really speaks volumes to how much respect and trust Scrooge has in Donald.
@@Jjop017 And then when Donald shoves the debris in the way and they each acknowledge each other by their names, calling back to the first episode while also showing how much they've changed!
Such a good finale.
webby learning scrooge is her dad makes the line ''This is a family matter, you are not family!'' from Last Crash of the Sunchaser even more heartbreaking
But he didn’t know either
very true but for us the viewers
The April, May, June and Webby connection is interesting. The girl triplets were originally and for most of their history Daisy's nieces, as counterparts to Huey, Dewey, and Louie. When the 87 Ducktales series came out having two sets of triplets in the cartoon seemed like a bit much, so they were basically rolled into a composite character of what would become Webby-87, with the Daisy connection stripped since the 87 crew weren't allowed to use iconic characters much, Daisy never appearing and Donald only showing up a few times. A French published family tree mistakenly had Webby listed as a niece of Daisy. Webby was also renamed to Lizzie in French publications at some point, which was also the name April had in those translations. So there was often confusion about if Webby was supposed to be related to the girl triplets, or even if she and April were supposed to be the same character. So they've always had a sort of meta connection, and the Webby clone "arc" plays with that to make it true in one particular universe
Wow, I had no idea.
That's really interesting. Tha k you for the lore.
*Scrooge to Webby in ‘The Last Crash of the Sunchaser’:* “This is a family matter! You are not family!”
*Me now:* Are you sure about that?
This show ended way to soon would have loved to see more. WILL MISS YOU DUCKTALES.
Same here, it was fun while it lasted.
Exactly! There’s still a lot of things that can be done. Scrooge making amends with some of the villains (the premise from the previous episode was that he was guilty of not helping Magica save her brother), finding out more about Launchpad’s misadventures, Donald and Daisy possibly getting married, Pepper finding a new job, and the loose end involving NegaDuck.
I was thinking this show would only last four seasons, since that is usually how long Disney animated series last, so was sad to hear it would be ending in three. I did enjoy season 3 as a whole and loved the series finale. Disney XD did treat this series right. Back when the series first premiered Disney XD had a all day marathon of the series premiere for 24 hours straight. I loved they did the same thing with the series finale after they had a week of DuckTales marathon of every episode leading up to the finale.
I make up for my grief by reading the comments
I heard something about a dark wing duck reboot might happen
25:21 - he’s also implied to have killed Duckworth too. Notice in the slideshow, Bradford is in the background and glaring at Duckworth. Then we get a shot of sad!Scrooge at dead!Duckworth’s painting. The implication is that Bradford got rid of him too.
This was one of the best finales in kids shows i´ve ever seen! It didn´t feel rushed, it took time to answer important questions
And Black Heron´s death was such a great moment. She wasn´t even scared, she was impressed!
One would have expected her to be angry, but her basically just going 'Jokes on you! I'm into that shit!' has really made the scene.
April May and June were Daisy's nieces originally. And that Gargoyles throw back was the best part. Ooh! You should react to Gargoyles if you haven't seen it.
Now that you know the twist with Webby, go back and look at old episodes.
Scrooges outburst in "The Last Crash of the Sunchaser!" at Webby hits different now. Calling Webby "not family" is extra tragic knowing she is literally his daughter.
In "From the Confidential Casefiles of Agent 22!" seeing how similar Webby and Young scrooge act is just masterful foreshadowing.
In "The Fight for Castle McDuck!" the moment Webby is in actual danger, Scrooge, Matilda and even one of the statues stop their fighting to try and save her.
"A Nightmare on Killmotor Hill!" has Webby literally take on a top hat, glasses and sideburns as her perfect dream.
In "The Forbidden Fountain of the Foreverglades!" Webby starts acting a lot like Scrooge as she gets more injured.
Sooooo many other episodes show Webby mimicking the quirks and mannerisms of Scrooge. We always assumed it was just fangirling, but in reality it was a familial connection.
But even as far back as the very first episode. In the "I'm gonna eat a hamburger" scene Webby tells us her ambitions is to be an explorer, see the world and then strikes a pose just like the Scrooge stature behind her. And none of that is fangirling over Scrooge - that is all Webby showing she is a McDuck to the core.
There are plenty of other examples, and none of them coincidental. The creators have said they planned this particular twist from the very start.
I’d love to read the whole list, if you’re willing to type it. You mentioned some foreshadowing things that I completely missed when rewatching specifically looking for foreshadowing.
25:00 I will NEVER EVER forget about this, Bradford is the reason the kids grew up without their mother for most of their lives
@@nataliavelasquez1251 true but everybody knew how adventurous della was that's why scrooge built it in secret, to reveal to her when he knows they can explore space safely together
@@aidenhallowell3819 Yeah, but why would she and Scrooge think it was a good idea to explore space when Della was an expecting mother of 3?
@@klimmr he didn't which is why he kept it a secret, he was waiting until later when the kids were older like they are now
@@nataliavelasquez1251 I don't think Bradford needed to tell Della directly and risk his cover being blown. FOr all we know he could just had...dropped a tiny hint by "mistake" during one off those reunions and then the rest solves itself.
Neither will I
The finale hands-down has some of the best plot twists in animation history!!
A lot of people theorized what the plot twist to the finale would be, but this one tripped us while we were walking down the stairs!
They really pulled out all the stops for this finale and I thank the crew for this. Despite only 3 seasons, this show worked so well as being a great reboot from the original. Hopefully, Disney does make the Darkwing Duck reboot. It’s be a nice way of continuing the show and expanding the universe more. Overall, this show was great.
Hey, Zamber! Remember in “Escape from the ImpossiBin” when you feared Beakley was the traitor? Welp, phooey! At least she was forgiven, she’s still a caring guardian.
Speaking of the ImpossiBin, there were some useful things there they could’ve used in that fight (the killer unicorn for one).
We all agree this show’s main protagonist was Manny the Horse, right?
...right?
No, it was Donald Duck.
no it was obviously Louie
Manny appeared in the 1st episode, of course he is!
@@charismaentertainer so did Louie plus he was one of the first faces we see boom checkmate
Launchpad
Webby's not the triplets' aunt. She's their first cousin, once removed. (Or something of that level. Maybe 2nd cousin once removed?)
No you’re right first cuz once removed
I think it's first cousin twice removed. It's a little confusing since I think originally Scrooge was the uncle of Donald and Della but in this reboot they added an extra generation to make him their great uncle. It was a good way to make the timelines fit better so that Scrooge was still born around the same time but the triplets were born in the 2000s. Regardless when they first met Webby called the triplets "Scrooge's nephews twice removed" so she'd be their cousin twice removed.
@@matthewkreps3352 okay you are wrong. If she was HDLs aunt she would have to be the sister of Della. If someone is your parents cousin, you are first cousins once removed, because it is one generation behind you. Look it up if you have to
@@ap7635 Good memory, but if she's one generation down from Scrooge, she'd only be once removed. That's how math works.
@@Rognik You're confused. It's not the gap in generations between her and Scrooge that matters. It's the gap between her and the boys. If Scrooge is her father then his sister Hortense would be her aunt. Hortense's unnamed child (who is one of the boys' grandparents) would be Webby's cousin. Donald and Della would be her cousins once removed. And the triplets are therefore her cousins twice removed.
If I remember correctly, April, May, and June are originally Daisy’s triplet nieces.
yes they are and I was really happy to see them as that!!!
22:31 to 22:42 *Gotta love Keith David voicing the headless horseman and hearing the Gargoyles Theme in the background was amazing!!*
Yes!
I know some people didn't like the twist because it "devalues the found family message" which is understandable but I think it points out that Beakley is a found family member. She was a SHUSH Agent who is not at all biological or related to the McDucks through marriage. She is an employee who brought Webby home to Scrooge and not her biological grandma. She grows into the part of being Webby and the boys grandma not through being related but through experiences and bonding with them. Plus there are so many other characters that are family that aren't blood related. Look at Webby's board. It has Gyro, Boyd, Fenton, Penny, Lena, Violet etc on it. May and June wanted to cut all those peoples strings off and Webby got upset when they attempted to do this because she considered them family.
Agreed. Despite being told time and time again, Webby still felt she wasn’t part of the family. It was evident in the episode very late in the show “Fight for Castle McDuck”.
It’s good she is related by blood. She needs that confirmation that she’s actually part of a family, especially since she found out she wasn’t related to Beakley.
Also a important fact people overlook is that being blood related to Scrooge wasn’t enough to find the papyrus. May and June were clones of Webby for example could not get it despite having Scrooge’s blood the same way Webby does. That implies the papyrus took what Scrooge considered family over the biological sense. Webby could only find the papyrus because her experiences with McDuck/Duck family and all of them considering her to be part of the family. Found family is still an important aspect through Beakly and shown that Webby’s connection the family was formed through love rather than blood.
Technically, they did “find” each other
@@Jjop017 also I feel like even though she is biologically family, it doesn't negate her BEING part of the family, as she had earned her way in squared even without that prior knowledge
Before I really knew Ducktales was a thing, I saw a TH-cam video titled "Scrooge McDuck's daughter," which is what got me interested in watching. So, I watched the whole series already knowing the finale twist. It's really cool to see your reaction to hearing it all for the first time!
Two last bits of old Disney shoutouts the Crew couldn't resist putting in:
"A hawaiian shirt? Is this 1996?" AKA the airdate of Quack Pack, where that exact hawaiian shirt was first worn by Donald.
And of course Manny's full transformation into a Gargoyles reference, complete with musical cue and Keith Richards' voice.
That particular plot twist, you know the one, absolutely blew my mind when I saw it on premier night.
I couldn't even get more than like 2 or so hours of sleep that night.
I loved this show *that* much.
It was a glorious ride, and it was a joy to watch you go on this ride too.
2 of my top favorite scenes in the finale:
1. When Manny changed, referencing one of my favorite 90's cartoons from my early childhood Gargoyles and having the VA of Goliath, one of the major main characters of the series, return.
2. When Scrooge says "Oh Webby darling" and hugs her. He loved her before, but the fact she is his daughter makes him love her even more. It even inspired me to write two short stories of the aftermath. The first one is of Scrooge's parents finding out and the second of Scrooge and Webby having a father-daughter moment.
the ducktales crew honestly deserve a lot of praise for making a reboot that's made with love and care for the original show, comics, and other disney media while also adding in some new ideas to the show.
TOTALLY GONNA MISS THIS SHOW!!!!! 😭😭😭🥲🥲🥲🤧🤧
20:43 Well, Lena was Magica's Living Shadow and look how she turned out.
When creating the original DuckTales Disney required for there to be a female kid character on the show as a counterpart for HDL. The crew looked to the comic and thought about including April May and June (Daisy's nieces) because they were made to be girl versions of the triplets. However, the crew thought having 2 sets of triplets would be confusing so they combined April May, and June into one character: Webby.
This was one Hell of a series and an amazing reboot to a classic show while giving it an unique spin on it. I am so glad we got to see it
This is definitely one of the better series finales for an animated show out there. I'm incredibly sad that this story is mostly over now (outside of the podcast that...I don't know if people are listening to) but I'm hopeful for that universes future (rumor has it that a Darkwing Duck series is in the works and you'll be able to see them in a World Showcase Adventure in EPCOT eventually).
Also, bringing in Keith David to relive his Gargoyles moment through Manny was such a boss move.
I really enjoyed the finale of the DT reboot, especially since it finally gave Webby somewhat of an origin, the episode may have had it's ups and downs like all tv show finales do, but all in all the reboot had a good run in my opinion.
Zamber, if you, Blue Order, and Blier were to go live and talk about this show, I sure as hell wouldn’t complain! ❤️
That actually sounds really fun! :) not a bad idea!
One thing I really wanted from this finale but didn’t get: THE DUKE OF MAKING A MESS!!! I WANTED TO SEE HIM AGAIN!!!
It’s all over except for the Ducktales after show podcasts.
I heard they’re making a Darkwing Duck series.
@@darthbane5676 I’m not really sure... I know that there were rumors circling 8 months ago...
But no announcements or confirmation... at least to me...
April May and June are Daisy's nieces in the comics. They just mixed Webby and April and that's why at the end May and June leaves with Donald and Daisy.
Actually if Webby starts calling Scrooge her dad, she would be the triplets’ cousin once removed, so yeah they’re cousins
Next to your Amphibia and Owl House reactions, this has been my favorite reactions from you. I’m so glad you enjoyed this show as much as I do. I hope you love whatever show wins next. 💖🙂
Idk why but the "How do we Dewey this?" From Louie made my heart *melt*
One final "Ducktales...Woo-hoo!" But hey let's see how the spin-offs turn out.
Spin-offs?
@@j.p1183
The Darkwing Duck reboot, plus some of the other characters brought back in the show are being looked at for more Disney Afternoon reboots.
@@j.p1183 There's a rumor that Darkwing Duck will get a reboot that would also work as a Spin off of this DuckTales version.
There's nothing confirmed yet tho.
Hopefully youtubers react to any spinoffs, I'm missing ducktales already
Now THAT was a hurricane!
IMO this finale was so perfect and I’m so glad I watched the show and I really loved your reaction to it
Here's to hoping that this show can continue in the Darkwing Duck reboot on Disney+. Edit: I'm not ready to say goodbye to these versions of Huey, Dewey and Louie yet.
Webbie is actually a cousin since she’s the daughter of scrooge McDuck and Donald and Della’s cousins
This show was truly fantastic, with some amazing humor and really fleshed out characters. It's a shame that it was taken away from us earlier then it should but I'm glad it was great while we had it.
This also means that Webby is the true heir to the McDuck fortune and clan McDuck itself
Love the gargoyles reference! Great finale!
One last fun voice actor trivia: Manny was voiced by Keith David, the voice of Dr Facilier in The Princess and the Frog.
I thought My Little Pony Friendship is Magic would be an option. It fits so much with your personality.
My favorite show, but nine seasons sounds like a lot for any reaction channel. Applegeek has excellent MLP reactions, but only starting midway through season 5.
Yeah, I don't think they want you to put too much thought into where clones land on the family tree, since Scrooge's clone is called his child, while Webby's clones are called her sisters
the whole debbigail shippers are crying in the back
thats me, im debbigail shippers LMAO, but loved re-watching this series with zamber! :]
Meanwhile, the weblena shippers are celebrating.
We Weblena shippers left canon behind years ago, we're off in our own separate dimension.
@@j.p1183 Except this episode called them sisters.
In my grade in school, one of my classmates was the aunt to another one of my classmates. She was also younger then he was. They had a really good sense of humor about it lol.
“This is a family matter, YOU ARE NOT FAMILY” hits different now 😟
the series hits harder once you watch the finale. it just... my heart man~
Zamber I am pretty sure May and June weren’t so much related to the Ducktales series as much as they were loosely related to the Ducks. April, May, and June were the triplet nieces of Daisy Duck to balance out the boys in the Donald Duck comics.
;w; thanks for reacting, this have been an incredible journey. You had make it so much funnier and better. 💜
I love how I went the whole series seeing all these Disney Afternoon references and wondering when they were gonna do Gargoyles, and they saved it for last. lol
Keith David reprising his Goliath Voice for many was such a huge nostalgia hit to the heart that this finally made me rewatch all of Gargoyals
Real missed opportunity to have all the Disney Afternoon characters fighting alongside our heroes but also at the same time Negaduck and Bubla weren't used here only to wasted as the others In the background. Plus Imagine Don Karnage and his own "Megamix" of various as his revenge!
Nega will probably be in the darkwing duck reboot
While im satisfied enough with the reaction,I'm actually upset she cut out the part with launchpad that was my favorite part of the entire finale
What I would for to happen after this show: A Gargoyles reboot, a spin off with the Sabrewings and a spin off with Donald, Daisy, May and June
Gargoyles reboot?
Screw that, I want Brooklyn's time-traveling adventures animated!!
He spent 40 years traveling in time, and only 40 seconds passed in present time!
I had a great time watching this show with you, Zamber. Hope you enjoyed the show!
Wait a minute. Since Webby is technically Scrooge’s daughter and the boys are his great nephew that’s makes Huey, Dewey and Louie are Webby (April), May and June’s cousins once removed and so are
I'm really gonna miss this show!😢😭🙏 You know, my mom had used to watch the old ducktales when she was younger and she love it. And plus, when the new ducktales series came out in 2017, i started to watch it then. It was pretty good. My mom even told me she watched the first episode while i was in school. It was a great disney series, but i'm really gonna miss this so much. It was fun while it lasted.
I cried so much when the credits started that day :'(
Great reaction to not just the series finale, but the whole series. I think I started watching your DuckTales reaction last summer. For me it has been a really great year watching DuckTales reaction and reliving the show again through your eyes. I was dreading watching your reaction to the series finale because it would feel like reliving the finale myself. It is a great send off to this amazing reboot. This is a perfect example of how to do a reboot. I could tell the show runners and writers have genuine love for tue original 80s cartoon and Disney comics, while not being afraid to do their own thing with these characters.
I think these characters are going to be my favorite iterations. Scrooge and Beakley friendship became one of my favorite aspects of the show. It was a complete overhaul of the original series and I loved it. I loved the characters and the stories we got to follow with them. I’m still holding out hope one day we get a straight video movie on Disney Plus one day.
That's 2 shows gone. Steven Universe and Ducktales will live on in great nostalgia eventually.
25:04 i just absolutely LOVE how they animated Scrooge for that moment. you really get the raw emotion he was feeling in that moment
Thanks for watching Ducktales! It's my favorite show and I loved your reactions so much!
Ok I’m gonna say it’s safe to call Bradford the main villain of Ducktales at this point (I know some say it’s Magica or Glomgold but seriously when thinking about it everything in the series was in some ways caused by Bradford)
Well, Bradford is the overarching villain off the Reboot and representing an ultimate challenge for Scrooge: ALl the other nemesis were causing an adventuring off their own but Bradford was the direct challenge to what an adventurer is and he threatened more than just the world and family, he threatened a lifestyle and ideal
About webby and the boys; she’s the daughter of their grand UNCLE, not their grandfather, so she’s actually their first cousin once removed.
As Vin Diesel would say "Because Family"
The part with Fenton trying to tell Darkwing that he is Gizmoduck was hilarious 😂
Moral of the episode is,
Vin Diesel: "family."
I'm still pissed that Bradford killed Duckworth
They never outright say it… but we all know he did it.
Wait, what?! When did they say that?
@@shadycactus7896 yeah if you watch the full episode Bradford showed a clip of Duckworth after his death said "I tried to isolated you" insinuated he was involved with Duckworth's death
@@shadycactus7896 he thought of he lost Duckworth he would stop adventuring.
@@shadycactus7896 Bradford changed the slideshow so quickly it was a detail that wasnt noticed until a rewatch, neither audience nor Scrooge caught up on that inmediatedly.
Glomgold attempts to kill Scrooge and his family constantly, "Eh, he's just a short tempered goof."
Ma runs a crime ring, "She can be dangerous, but nothing the Mcduck family can't handle.
Magica ran villages into the ground, nearly took over Duckburg and made Leena's life a nightmare, "I mean, she's pretty evil, it's kind of hard to top that..."
Bradford, "How do you think she found out about the Sphere of Selene?"
*MAKE THAT BUZZARD BASTARD PAY, SCROOGE!!!*
Webby is more of the Triplet's First Cousin once removed.
Damn, what a journey it’s been; Han thanks for giving me an excuse to watch this series over again 😊
Technically, Webby would only be the triplet's aunt if Scrooge was their Grandfather. However, she is Donald and Della's cousin, so that would make her a, great cousin?
22:22 Really feel like the show could've done so much more with that Genie .... and Huey seeing as though it's his season.
Yeah he was real fun in the movie. And I liked his original voice better but that's just me *shrugs*
So nice to see a Gargoyles Reference in 2021!
webby is the cousin of the three boys.
della is the boys mom.
the brother of her parent is scrooge.
webby is the daughter of scrooge, which makes her the cousin of donald and della.
and going down the line, webby remains the cousin of the boys. which makes webby the boys first cousin once removed.
Of every show I've ever watch this is the only one where I thought "I'm not ready for this show to end"
I turned into Webby (when she saw Castle Mcduck) when Manny was revealed to be a f___ing gargoyle, and the theme played!
My friends: Let's hang out in half an hour!
Me: Oh yeah, sure, why not.
Zamber: *uploads*
Me: ...Yo guys could we re-schedule?
Webby would be the boys' first cousin once removed. She's Donald and Della's first cousin.
Yes I watched all of your season three reactions today and I was wondering when this episode would be posted and here it is
Fun Fact: April, May and June are originally Daisy's Nieces in the comics
I love how Webby is basically a Doll from Street Fighter even being named after months of the year.
27:51
"We are not villains!"
Proceeds to evil laugh
She didn’t mention the gargoyles theme for mani lol
She might not have seen it.
22:24 so I know I can't make requests yet, but have you ever considered watching Gargoyles for this channel?
.... It's only the greatest thing Disney ever put on television. :)
Yeah thats not how family trees work, to be the aunt of the boys then she would have to be related to Donald and Della in a sibling capacity, she's their first cousin which makes Webby the triplets first cousin once removed. Also its not actually that uncommon to have an aunt or uncle that is close in age to the child and idk why you treat it like it is.
HERE WE GO! WOO-HOO!
I finished this show 2 days ago and IT WAS AMAZINGGG also I used to watch your channel a lot but I was signed out so sadly I couldn't subscribe to you but its glad to be back in the zamily!!! 😊😊
Fun Fact: the code names for webby and her sisters where a reference to The Legend Of The Three Caballeros where April,May and June are Daisy’s Nieces
