I love your badges system! I'm working on my first reading journal for 2025, so I've been watching a LOT of videos. I haven't seen anything like your badge system. It's so unique and helpful.
This is so neat!! So not overwhealming. I'm thinking of doing the same. Also I loved your badges system. I might use it! Cool video. Thanks for sharing
i'm starting a reading journal again in 2025 after 2 years of logging all of my books digitally and to be quite honest, digital book tracking sucks and i miss doing it in a notebook/journal. i'm currently watching a lot of journal videos just to get some ideas for my own and i'm a bit overwhelmed. i want my journal to look cute but i don't have a lot of resources to design it and i was beginning to feel unmotivated. then i stumbled upon your video! i love your set-up! it's simple, cute and each page is really useful! i realized that i don't really need to fill out my journal with a lot of colors, drawings, stickers, and what not, i just need it to be useful. now i'm inspired to go back to journaling again! thank you so much! ❤
So refreshing to see a minimalistic book journal. Nothing wrong with the super decorated ones, I just enjoy simpler spreads personally! Love the book badges idea, so clever. I'm thinking of a tagging system (probably with just text or small symbols) for my 2025 book journal, similarly. Thanks for sharing!
TFS, this was inspirational because it captured the data with a simple design. Sone videos have these beautiful and elaborate reading journals and that overwhelms and almost prevents me from making my own. Hope that made sense. I plan to use an archer and olive A5 size book. And this will be my first ever reading journal 🤞
It makes perfect sense! I love seeing very elaborate journals too, but I prefer mine to be simpler. I'm glad you're starting your own journal next year, hope you'll have lots of fun with it! 😊
I really enjoyed this! It feels like you've got few enough spreads/collections to keep it from feeling overwhelming, while also allowing space for fun 😄 It looks like a very good balance. I'm still figuring out how I want to do my book journaling. Often when I watch videos to gather ideas, I'm left feeling overwhelmed. Not so much by the decorations, but more so by how many different spreads/collections there are, and how elaborate they seem. This was a nice reminder that it's possible to keep an effective book journal without a bunch of challenges, bingos, and brackets. I will be using one of those thin Hobonichi A5 notebook booklets for my collections next year. I'll do the journaling about the books (the "reviews") in my Hobonichi Cousin, which will be my journal for next year, and tuck the collections booklet in the back. My goal is to read 52 books, so I'm thinking about using the weekly pages for my book notes, but nothing's decided yet 😊
I'm glad you enjoyed this! And you described it so well-I do try to create functional spreads that I can maintain easily, but keeping them fun is just as important to me 🤭 I hope your plan works-I think it could be really nice to include your book thoughts in your main planner. This way they'll feel like a natural part of your daily life (if that makes sense!) 😊
I got inspired by the book badges from a former video and made my own badge set for my Asian-drama-journal :) and some of them I am also using for my reading journal!
You might enjoy picking a few prompts from Paperbacks And Frybreads reading challenge “Decolonize your bookshelf” - I’ve felt far less pressure to read a high quantity of books but rather higher quality books from genres I may not seek out right away.
Hey! I’m so sorry, but I’m keeping these just for personal use right now. However, you could try creating something similar on Canva-it’s free and quite fun to play with 😊

The badge system is a great idea. If I were to use it I would buy some stamps and use them instread of stickers. Anyway thanks for the idea.
Stamps are such a good idea! I think they would create a very clean and consistent look 😊
The book badge system is SO CUTE I love it so much ♡ I'll have to develop my own system for 2025 :)
Thank you so much! And have fun developing your system 😊
The book badges are such a great idea. I am stealing it. 😜

Hi! I tried a B6 for work plan, I like it… planning an A6 MD for the reading journal…
I was considering A6 MD for my reading journal too! Hope you will have lots of fun with it 😊
Hi again! Do you have a pdf of the badges maybe?
Hey! I’m so sorry, but I’m keeping these just for personal use right now. However, you could try creating something similar on Canva-it’s free and quite fun to play with 😊
