Easily the most underrated artist of the last 20 years. Just songwriting brilliance and a guitar virtuoso, nevermind his production and all around instrumental brilliance. If Prince was a west coast punk
His new album is amazing
Is it though?

Thanks Tyl your a true artist ❤
ty keep being prolific because you're wrong it doesn't lessen the work. just bloom baby.
I'm very happy they're interviewing musicians like Ty Segall, or even way back when they interviewed Mac DeMarco, keep up the musician interviews! However, I will say, the "visual style" of interview feels too serious for this type of topic, it feels too formal or something....just my two cents.
Love his vibe ❤
Thank you Ty!
I wish we could hear the interviewer asking the questions but still great video
This allows the interviewer to hide all their fuckups and paint whatever narrative they want by putting some of the answers in their preferred order. Basic AP jackassery.
Still waiting for the Ty Segall interview will kicks off with, "What's in your head?"
the best
My new favorite axe 🎸 monster!
Thanks, Ty.
Thanks Ty! Obrigado Ty!

So far best album of 2024, tie with Hannah Wicklund’s one
The Who did 3 different songs in one as far back as I can think, but respect to Ty I don't see that alot.
King gizzard

his 2006-2012 albums were the best everything else is eh
Break A Guitar was where it all went downhill
Interesting...
Definitely agree. Haven’t really been into his music since then.
I would like to heavily disagree, lol.
I respect your opinion. But you gotta try to put yourself in the artists shoes. Ty’s put out so much music by the time he was 30. More music than some bands even write alone. He’s done the loud garage, done the rock n roll, done the more hippie sounding stuff. So after proving yourself and submerging with all these styles , I think one would start to create other kinds of music.
would agree if not for first taste. that album kills so hard it makes me forgive the freedom band stuff
not gonna lie, pretty boring
Assuming you don’t play music. Also under 21.
@@Benjamenvince ehmmm nope definitely older than that and a musician.... Seen Ty Segall/fuzz/muggers/goggs plenty of iterations over the years of 2012-2019... No need to get so soft if I'm saying I find his new stuff not my cup of tea and boring. I just think he seems a bit burnt out!
This is interesting to me! I don’t agree, but appreciate that perspective, especially since you’ve been a long time fan. Do you like his acoustic jams??
It’s not for everyone
@@fuzzy-tb9so But that isn't what you said.
