We could see that Ritu reached her limits. Without any striking skills it's very hard to beat a talented opponent as Stamp. Stamp showed impressive skills in defending and waiting for the right moment.
Ritu won't even get pass Hirata or Julie Mezabarba.
She barely made it pass Meng n Olsim.
Definitely Not Champ Material in Next 3 yrs
She should focus on Throwing Axes.

@@kulyog6626 she was just dancing around and exhausting her energy. Wasted lots of energy and was predictable. Stamp was bold enough to challenge her and wasted to no time throwing her kicks, punches and knees at every opportunity. Ritu disappointedly was waiting for when to attack Stamps. Quite fortunately for Stamp, she used wisdom. Not everything requires skills, u need wisdom for a competitive fight like this.
It's just amazing, Stamp is a well rounded fighter and Pholgat is really excellent wrestler with a ground-and pound tactics. Both fighters started at an early age with their family pushing them, and I think that adds to their determination, fighting spirit, and of course mastery of skills.

Not only does Ritu's striking need work but her BJJ as well. Any submission specialist she faces, she will lose. Ritu should change camps and totally reinvent her game
Funny thing is stamp is not even considered as a submission specialist. Stamp is more towards striking specialist and good takedown defense. But she is fast to adapt to situation. Just an amazing fighter stamp is.
@@Hetzerg Stamp has learned very much from her defeat against Rassohyna. She improved her skills at every fight since then. That makes her the most complete fighter at the moment.
So the conclusion is stamp learned to defend herself in takedowns. She had the striking skills which was going to give her points. So she had always the upper hand. Ritu on the other hand was totally relying on her grappling skills and tough fighters like stamp can't be beaten with only one skill in mma. Hope ritu comes back better and stronger💪.

She lost because Ritu is too one dimensional fighter. It's all wrestling. Which is fine but she needs to build her strength up quite abit and build on her ju jitsu fishing moves and strength. Stamp is so incredibly strong and flexible. No matter how much training Ritu does she will not catch up to Stamps striking ability so work strength and jujitsu. Wrestling is the best base.
Ritu was shocked and devastated that Stamp could finish her that way…😳🤷♂️

It was not a takedown with G&P. Ritu knows only wrestling not jujitsu and striking. Basically stamp is an all rounded fighter who was better than one dimensional Ritu but did not beat Ritu in her own game.

Well here some of here statements claiming superiority on the ground which she claims is her world... 1) "People underestimate me but I'm very strong for my size. It's very hard to submit someone when youre being held down and smashed from the guard. I'm not an easy fighter to submit. Many have tried before and no one has succeeded." 2) "I do not believe that a single training camp would bring Stamp to my level of expertise as far as wrestling is concerned. She would have to dedicate a considerable chunk of her life to wrestling to match steps with me.” and lastly, 3) “I am supremely confident that my battle-tested endurance, well-roundedness, and superior fight IQ will prevail, despite the weapons in her arsenal.” What now?

It's basically a martial arts expert vs a wrestler in a martial arts competition.. the only place Ritu can win against Stamp is in a wrestling pit..not in a MMA ring

Ritu's wrestling is really good, she is so strong, but Stamp on the other hand is the complete package type, powerful striker with improved ground game, she would prefer to trade shots but would love to be on the ground too if needed, anywhere the fight would go she is ready! Stamp is a top level fighter with everything in her possession.
Ritu has only strong ground game. No kicking, no boxing, no striking. Ritu should train kickboxing sometimes too.

Ritu needs to focus on striking and learning how to feint properly. Instead of constantly doing take-downs. You cant keep doing take down attempts you have to set it up properly and take then down when they least expect ir.

Disagreed with mitch between rounds giving the edge to ritu, I thought she ate a lot of knees and elbows to just maintain her hold against the cage. I had initially thought stamp looked a bit nervous and may let it get to her but she put in a great fight, can't wait to see her vs lee, hopefully winner vs itsuke

The first thing I saw when I saw it "live" here on YT , was Stamp seemed a bit stressed i 1st round, not the usual little slow muaythai-rocking back and fourth I see her do before, but in 2nd she was her normal pace, damn nice to see.

She's probably training hard on not starting slow. Works great in a traditional Thai rule set and 5 round fight, MMA - not so much.. If she's slow off the mark with Lee she'll be eaten.

As We told earlier, If Ritu can't strike with fists, she has to learn some nice submission moves and also learn to throw legs.
Unfortunately she doesn't do submission.
Anyways we support her like we did before the match.

I really don't like these evolve mma gym coaches... A wrestler like Ritu should have been taught a lot of ground game like jiu jitsu.... At least von flue choke.
But they teach nothing
that coach shouted a lot of instructions, which make Ritu predictable in any given moment of time... He should've taught Ritu of how to be creative inside without relying too much from the coach, they should've teach her few BJJ arsenals, and Boxing arsenals so that she can be more of a threat in stand up and a danger in ground...
