When Faulkner replaced KK, it was a step forward, and he learned a lot since then. But there is no replacement for Glenn Tipton. They are able to replicate his parts, but they can`t write them.
Would hardly call it a solo band. Scott has been on drums since painkiller so is by far the longest standard drummer priest have had and not many people had a problem with Richie Faulkner when it was him and Glenn so why should he be thrown in the Halford solo band category? Arguably kks priest is more of a solo band as aside from ripper owens on vocals, the main attraction is kk and the band is literally named after him so it's pretty much a solo artist with backing band, way more so than priest is currently
@@viking_2112 i am speaking as a Priest fanatic for over 40 years. Rob , Glenn and KK were always the Metal Gods to me plural. Not just Halford who calls himself the Metal God every chance he gets. I am mainly talking live in concert. This group of Rob, Richie and Andy Sneap is a shadow of it's former self in terms of performance, stage presence and chemistry, excitement and pure power.
I've seen JP live 8 times since 1982. While Rob is doing a great job at his age, the energy is gone. Ian and Scott are the only ones getting into the music they're playing and making it a real show. Seems like everyone else is phoning it in; more like a day job than a passion. Watch Hagar at 76 years old, or Paul Rodgers; they still "feel it" every time they perform; still having a blast. I love this music, so just my 2 cents worth. I never made it as a rock star so I can't judge...😁
What’s with all the baggy clothes? I LOVE this band and love this song but Rob, you are not a tent.. you can still dress sexy as you used to do…. You don’t have to wear a tent.
Whoa, hold on a second! 51 here and priest fan since '84, the sentinel is my song. I hear ya, a producer playing guitar, Rob is using alot of effects now.. There is a youth nation ( and us old folks) to rely on. I'm hoping when Rob is done and calls it his day, Ripper comes back, settles in with Richie and a new legend keeps an old one alive. Proper!! May Metal Live On 🤘🤘
rob performs this song like it’s 1982 again
Es ist 1982 long live Metal
Rob Halford the legend,72 years old😮
Saw them live last night in Vienna and I didn't expect them to play this. Awesome.
He still has it
Kudos, my British mates, your crowd participation is over the top! I'll have to come over there for a show now. 🤘
the legend !!!!!
I love Andy's Jackson RR1. They don't male them like this anymore
It's done well..but Glen and KK sounded more fierce, like a infantry of army tanks coming at you
Was at this show,absolutely brilliant.
Listen to the band Ancient Days

wow hair transplants...great job
You need a brain transplant, or more likely implant.
I need some too😅...Ian and Andy should be spokesmen for Hair Club.
Missing Glenn and KK. Halford solo band with Ian Hill.
Halford isn't the original vocalist, and left Priest for several years.

My favorite heavy metal band but man they could’ve found a better guitar player than the guy who played the lead.

He's put on a few lbs.

i just cant stand the kk wnabe, just cant get over it
No Glenn. No KK. No Priest. Halford is only one third of the big three. Sorry.
You are 100% correct. I love priests, but it's not the same without Glenn and KK. They should call it a day with dignity.
