    This bracelet is made with Gem stone chips. I had a bunch of chips I bought a while back and decided to design something to use them in. It is a pretty simple project, just takes time. I want to apologize for the small distortion at the start of the video. I promise I will get new equipment soon to address that problem. It only last a few seconds but is annoying.
    Materials:
    A Strand of gem stone chips/ or a mix of chips
    6/0 seed beads in one or up to three colors
    11/0 seed beads
    2 wire protectors
    a toggle clasp
    8lb Fireline
    size 10 or smaller beading needle

    This was the first beading tutorial I had ever seen, I was a kid in middle school when this video was posted, and I was mesmerized watching this. I am all grown up and I can proudly say that I am now a beader, and I'll be making this bracelet soon!!! Thank you for these beautiful and memorable creations Gina, I hope that you are doing well madame!! ❤

    You are BRILLIANT, Gina! I have dozens of strands of gemstone chips .. now I know what to do with them!! I found that you can use the larger chips by putting an extra 11/0 or 15/0 seed bead between them : ) I especially like it with the gemstone chips (with the seed beads) stitched down the thread bridge on top so they're on three sides.
    Thanks so much, Gina ♥♡♥♡♥

      Hi Connie, I have no doubt in my mind that you can do this very easily. Beading really isn't hard if you can see each step clearly. Have fun! And never feel as if you can't do the projects, I know you can!

    Alisha over at Beadingful Night made a barrette with stone chips in this same color way. This bracelet and that barrette would make a beautiful set. I love how this is both casual and elegant.

    GIna, I absolutely LOVE this design!!!!! I think we all have that huge stash of mixed stone chips that we are not sure what to do with :) I wished we could post pics on here to show you. I have done mine in a blue/green mix & it is turning out absolutely stunning!!! Very "summery" too. I will be making quite a few of these in different shades & mixes for my summer craft shows. Thanks again for the design & for a way to use up some chips :)

      Prami, I am not sure about walk in stores. I live in a very small town. We haven't any bead stores here. Most are small businesses locally owned. It just depends where you go. You will have to ask local people or look it up on google or a telephone book. I am sorry, I am not much help with this question. I do all my shopping on line.

    • @GinasGemCreations

      No but you can put on a spring ring or lobster clap and add chain to the opposite side.

    Gina, where do you find speckled seed beads? Please include brands to check out. I would love to make a bracelet like yours & the speckled beads are awesome!

    • @GinasGemCreations
      @GinasGemCreations  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are Czech Terra Marble 6/o seed beads. I think I bought mine on eBay. I have had them for a while. But do a search, because I always buy from bigger sellers and I am sure you can find them still. They are pretty beads that's for sure.

    Thanks, Gina, for a great tutorial. Can you tell me how much thread you started the project with. I know I can add more if needed, but just curious how much you used to start. Thanks!

    • @GinasGemCreations
      @GinasGemCreations  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I like to start all projects (except earrings) with two wingspans of thread. Pull the thread out, spread your arms out like bird wings while stretching the thread. That is a wing span. I don't always use two wingspans in the videos. Because it is a lot of thread to pull through, takes longer to film.

    Sorry meant to say extend length of bracelet with toggle closure? Thanks

    • @GinasGemCreations
      @GinasGemCreations  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can put chain on the straight end of the toggle to extend it but it won't be adjustable. You can use a lobster claw clasp and a chain to extend with instead of a toggle clasp

      I am not sure that will work because of the flat, straight herringbone base. I do have a tutorial called Netted Rocks Necklace, you could use the same colors in it as you do in this one and make it match.

    that is sooooooooooo beautiful! ma'am, where do u get those beads from? do u know any wholesale store that i can find cheaper beads?

    • @GinasGemCreations
      @GinasGemCreations  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Prami, I am happy you like this one! There are several wholesale stores online but to buy wholesale you will need a tax ID number, usually. But for these particular beads I purchased all of them on Ebay a while ago. You can find gemstone chips very reasonably priced as well as the 6/o seed beads needed in this bracelet. You can also try Firemountain gems and Goodybeads. They are big online stores and are not too badly priced. I get a lot of questions about the beads I use and am contemplating putting together kits for my viewers. Until then, try an Ebay search. That will be the cheapest rout.

      thank you ma'am! for the store information! are there any walk-in-beads store that I can go n have a look! m not really good at buying materials at all!
      I leave in the Bahamas and I am planning to go in USA to buy the Materials, but I just like to have some ideas, and like to know, which state would be better to go to get the Beads!
