- THIS VIDEO: I thought that it might be interesting to look at some of the sub-categories that fall within the broad field of landscape photography. Some photographers prefer to be lone rangers - out on their own discovering beauty in nature, while others prefer to extract meaning and understanding within man-altered landscapes. It’s not necessary to confine oneself to an ultra-specialist area of interest, but many photographers have done just that and this will be the subject of this video.

Great video Graeme, I always get something out of them every time I watch one.
Thank you, this was a wonderful and varied presentation on landscapesw.
Great video, thanks for sharing your knowledge!
What a wonderful presentation of photography at a deeper level... 😊
Many thanks!
Very much enjoyed this video as I principally shoot landscapes. I enjoy the peace and serenity that comes with a quiet, contemplative Kenna style of minimalist monochrome photography. Thanks for another interesting and informative video! 📷😄
Thanks Grenville
0:30 Night sky photography, eh? It’s 4am in Canada and it just happened that for entire hour I was photographing this wild spectacular Aurora borealis that is visible in my area due to crazy heliostorms. It was a breathtaking experience to see this cosmic phenomenon. Used my Fujifilm GFX50R. It did a great job capturing detailed images. ❤️ Graeme, thanks for this lovely interesting video! I follow most of the photographers featured here.
Hi Slava What a fantastic opportunity! It is up there on my list of things that I would like to see. Take care.
Interesting stuff - glad you touched on the FSA's motives... Always more than meets the eye with Joe Cornish - a beautifully subtle photographer, even if 'conventional' landscape photography isn't really my favourite thing. Very pleased to discover Harry Callaghan - I shall dive deeper. And duly inspired, get out and shoot this afternoon!
Exactly get out there!!!
I’m pretty sure that was Edward Weston at 6:36. Nevertheless I always enjoy your videos.
Thanks Ed
What about Pictorialism? And Josef Sudek of Czechoslovakia landscapes of Bohemian forests and lee friedlander the desert seen?
Hi Thomas Pictorialism is a bit out of fashion, but the other two are right up there with the best.
Another great video - who was the Berlin photographer at 5:50 please Graeme?
Hi Alex It is Ola Kolehmainen
