We are going on MSC Divina in 3 weeks for Christmas and we have been assigned cabin 13222 and we only paid for a standard ocean view. So you can’t believe how excited I was to watch your video of the exact cabin, at the aft and we have a balcony, small yes, but we still get the fresh air and can stand out….super excited
I was on the Meraviglia in August for my first cruise. I always slept with a good sized, memory foam pillow before going on that cruise. However, the flat pillows on that ship were actually better for me and now I sleep with a flat pillow at home! LOL! But, I will agree...if you're not used to flatter pillows, and have no desire to change, bring your own. 💯
I just got home on November 12th from a Transatlantic cruise on Norwegian Epic in an aft-facing cabin. That, by far, was my favourite cabin ever! The balcony was large enough to have 2 regular chairs, a small table, and a lounge chair. I spent tons of time out there during the 13 night cruise. I highly recommend aft-facing balconies!
Hi there. You didn't get any smell of smoke from the engines of the ship or something like that? We got some bad smell every now and then on the Aft Balcony of the Voyager of the Seas.

You two are such a delight to watch! I'm glad you enjoyed your cabin! I know you had a sort of meh experience with Celebrity and the line may be too laid back for you; however, if you want a nice aft balcony that isn't too expensive, try a Sunset Veranda. Keep these babies up! I'm doing the caribbean for the first time, so I'm damn near losing my mind getting the last pieces I need to bring together ~ ! Happy sailing ~ !
This is a small balcony but MSC bills it as an outside cabin rather than a balcony. So you get the benefit of the balcony at an outside rate. Been on this ship several times and the cabins are all beautifully appointed.
It's easy to bring your own pillows when you drive to the ship, but living in New England you need to fly, and luggage issues are getting worse each year. Pretty soon it will cost more for luggage than the flight. So I would be at the mercy of their crap pillows. And I am picky with my pillows so this ship would turn me off unless they got nice pillows. Thanks for the trip, looking forward to more. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
To all who are booking a balcony on MSC Divina. Not all balcony, and cabin, are the same size. Some balcony are not as wide and some cabins are not big enough to fit a sofa but only the bed. Some balconies are even bigger than the norm. I checked my cabin location on MSC Divina website deck plan and noticed how small the cabin was with no sofa and balcony looked very slim. I changed my cabin as soon as I can. CHECK MSC DIVINA'S DECK PLAN VERY CAREFULLY - so you won't be surprised and disappointed.

Those are my favorite kinds of pillow. My pillow from home is just like that.
We are so close to bookings one of these cabins. Just need to wait and see about a family members drs appts.

Our AFT balcony on Freedom of the Seas was my favorite cabin.
I love that balcony. Not done that cruise line yet. Done NCL, P&O & Royal Caribbean.

Fave Cabin, Carnival Sunshine, Spa Balcony Suite, after that Spa Balcony NCL Escape. Least fave was RCCL Allure of the Sea.
