The only power that can hold and prosper the whole area from Afghanistan in west to Vietnam in East and middle East + Africa ( by extension ) is the 'Akhand bharat' you mentioned .
Akhand Bharat in reality is the Hindu cultural influences ( be it from any religion - Myanmar-thailand for example is a multi-ethnic region ) , rather than opposing the concept, subcontinent Muslims should understand that such a concept is not against Islam or Muslims , if not attacked .

You are talking about the concept that has similarities with Super State. World experimented with the concept in 1945 after world war 2 and it was called United Nations. Read more about it. The current form of UN is only stage 1, similar concept was envisioned for stage 2, but we never reached stage 2. If the world will have 2nd stage for UN, the countries will not be allowed to even keep military, only the police. Only the UN was supposed to have a united Army, called Peace Keeping Forces. But later all the countries realise that this is not possible and a very impractical idea. Please read more about this, it will give the vision, the reasons and why it failed terribly.

Later on jab country ka concept aaya tab , borders , maps and restrictions on access shuru hua.
Free trade agreement and free access hoga toh it will be good for the entire world. But the only problem it had was the concept of invasion which took over people's (rulers) mind.
Like in India there are about 32states more or less, there are borders shown in the map however there are no restrictions for travelling. Similarly in USA and Europe.
However, each state in India represent a different ethnic group and have a long standing history of their culture and traditions. If you were to travel and stay in my state, I (the ethenic group of that place) would expect you to understand my culture and accept the law and rule of the land and if you are able to do so, then there won't be an issue.
But what people ideally tend to do is to bring their own culture and they try to impose their culture in the new land. Which then creates tention in that area.
Hence, all these norms, rules and regulations were made to ensure every ethnic group, have their own space where they can follow and practice what they believe in without anyone's intervention.
Whatever you said you want is a dream, when people would care less about themselves and more about others and act selfless for the greater good of humanity.
