Great episode. I learned several new things that I'm kicking myself for not knowing already. I'd love to see more of these in the future. Keep up the great work.
I think I already commented, but I'm commenting again -- this was SO helpful. I came back to rewatch and get my non-chumpy blog brain sorted! Thank you a million!
My thumbs up for that format. I know how I struggled with the understanding of WordPress and how to fit all those puzzles there together, years ago. I can imagine that more episodes like this one can really have a lot of value. Thanks for your effort, Kevin!
One would have thought, with the CMS as a core competency, that the platform would have added all the tools for CPTs and custom fields a long time ago, and then promoted the hell out of it. The fact they didn’t speaks volumes about the people behind Wordpress not seeing much beyond it being a platform for blogging. The only nod it the right direction is the half arsed implementation of FSE and even then not all the tools are provided.
#Q the question regarding ch width was regarding should we put it in width or max-width because max-width seemed to create bugs in responsivness... but if we set it in width, will it (like px) try to stick to 75ch even if there is not enough space, or it will automatically reflow?
Phew I thought there for a moment they ended up buying it anyway. But yeah, my latest knowledge, too, is that the deal didn't go through. Better that way, seeing the shit Adobe's been pulling...

FINALLY I UNDERSTAND ACF and dynamic data! Thanks Kevin!!!
🎉🎉🎉
I learned so much from this session, Thank You. I absolutely think you should present this format more often.
Nice episode, thank you Kevin 😉
23:38 text-wrap: balanced is also a nice solution, at least for the headline.
Great session for we Beginners thanks Kevin!!
An excellent session! More please, Kevin!
13:16 I agree. If the client wants to build a bigger site in the future, are you going to start over? Lol
1:16:37 Good idea!
45:22 Yes. Lol. Why is it on autoplay?
It’s not

Use width in bricks. But in normal web design you use max-width. I’ll probably do a video.
I hate that Figma was acquired by greedy Adobe… They’ll ruin that great app over time :/
Maybe. I think the original figma team is still in place though.
Adobe did not acquire Figma. The deal didn't go through. EU regulators stopped it so that Adobe would not become a monopoly.
Phew I thought there for a moment they ended up buying it anyway. But yeah, my latest knowledge, too, is that the deal didn't go through. Better that way, seeing the shit Adobe's been pulling...
what @srenci is saying - the deal didn't go through
@@srecnioh thank god! 😅 Thx for the info, didn’t know
