Thanks for watching. In this video, we’ve shared some of our biggest regrets and lessons learned from traveling in retirement. Do any of these resonate with you? Or is there a concern about retirement travel or full time that we didn’t cover? Let us know in the comments below - we’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences.
just discovered your channel . Enjoyed it very much . A lot of the Asian countries have what I call visa free. 30 days or 60 days exemption on arrival.
Thank you for watching. Yes some Asian countries can be such easy entries and very generous time for the stay. We have an Australian passport so Malaysia is 90 day but Sri Lanka 30 days with an evisa. We’re always checking before we make plans.
Great video guys. We can relate to so many things here. I’m a planner though, no way we can wing it like you do though. Had to laugh when you said mark goes first to the shower…I make Pete go first too to figure it all out and report back. We make our travel days as easy as possible as that is how I get very stressed. A few tho we do is we’ve purchased Priority Pass for the airport business lounges where we eat and drink usually way too much but then don’t need food on our destination, we have continued eSIMs on our phone so it’s ready in every country on arrival, we always book a transfer from the airport to the accommodation unless it’s a very straightforward journey that we can walk. Or we have recently found Grab food app which we can order food to be delivered which has been great. We’re in such a good routine now when arriving at a new place how we unpack and make it our little home. But it really is a lucky dip what it really is compared to the photos when booking. Anyway hello from Phnom Penh Cambodia, hope you guys are having a ball wherever you are. Annette & Pete (Sydney, Australia) x
Great advice Annette. Grab food is the best. A gift to mankind. It’s so fast. We have DragonPass which is part of our credit card but still have to pay to use. Maybe priority pas might be better. Kudos to you planned travelers. We doubt we’ll ever get the skill but admire those of you who do. 👏🏻
Hi and thanks for the feedback. 😀Thanks for your question. We’re struggling to know how to answer it as we did three months in Vietnam and costs varied. And we don’t actually track our expenses. There are some great videos out there made by people who do, that might be useful to you.
