I call this bomber the "flying fortress". If you have a gunner and a repair guy you're just invincible.

I came across a heavy bomber pilot recently who absolutely wrecked. It's got so much health, it can withstand a tank shell from a St. Chamond spotlight variant. That's a shell that takes down normal bombers in 1 hit. It just heals up with the instant-repair & #4 seat repair guy. BUT, this pilot was pulling complete 180s u-turns in the air with the heavy bomber by flipping it almost upside-down then back to normal again, avoiding the need for a very wide half-circle turn.
You should look into this crazy u-turn mechanic, niccaman.

This bomber is a wild card in my opinion it not only depends on the pilots skill but also who joins up in his plane you could either get a repair man or a person who just uses you to get behind enemy lines but there is the rare guy who gets in the paratrooper spot and just drops dynamite everywhere which is actually useful believe it or not cause I was piloting this thing and a Assault player got in the paratrooper spot just as I was being chased by a Bomber Killer and the Assault guy dropped some dynamite and blew up the fighter! anyways Niccaman your a real flying Ace and a inspiration for me to be the bomber support in my team thanks for the strats!

hey nicca, this heavy troll bomber is also the ultimate dreadnought destroyer, no joke, just get someone repairing and use your insta rep at the right moments and you legit can be invincible, i did this once on albion and even though both aa guns in the dreadnought were focusing all firepower towards my bomber i could not die, its amazing

Would you happen to know if console players can jump from position 2 to 1 instead of cycling thru to 3 first? This is so critical as a solo bomber pilot on PS4 especially when no one chats.

Tip: I just fly over the enemy in 3rd person and drop the bombs when I think I’m over the enemy.. it works way better then zooming in tbh

You can also dive bomb with it.
This is more effective with the lighter bomber, though, which is able to kill even an A7V in a single bombing run without the unwieldiness and high visibility of the Muromets.
The one with the trench darts is good with the pull up strat

ok just a thought... best vehicles are those ones that require a team-work for the way they are balanced (eg the landship). Get a squad together(5 players) and try a 3 planes strategy: 1 bomber (driver + gunner/back anti-air), 2 fighters bomber killer, 1 sniper on the field for intense spotting(flares and spotting scope) and anti AAguns long range sniping... Cheers m8

Nicca I myself love the heavy bomber and you don’t really have to do that... I mean just slowing down seconds before you hit your target and releasing everything you’ve got starting from the big bombs you will find yourself turning the game around.
As far the heavy bomber was great to my for getting the 2 plane shot downs with LMG :D
I miss having a full squad in a bomber... I hope BFV adds heavy bombers eventually.

The #4 seat can have unlimited crossbow grenades and a repair tool. If you coordinate on bombing a flag he can drop his own payload and pick off other stragglers

Have a support in the middle seat. Make sure he has a repair tool. He can repair the heavy bomber from inside. The heavy bomber is now fucking indestructible.
This bomber rocks if your teammates on the ground are tagging targets for you which is necessary because it is too heavy to use effectively at low height

they should add a carpet bomber that drops like 50 bombs but it super easy to kill sort of a glass cannon.
Dice needs to make it so the bombs from both bombers have way more damage and splash damage which would actually make the bombers a lot more viable
You need to drop second bomb first and then first
They should install a Davis recoilless gun or a cow gun at the top of that bomber, so he wouldn't be so useless.

Niccaman, recently the heavy bomber has been more vulnerable to anti-aircraft due to the recent patch. My friend and I use to be able to perform so well in operations using the heavy bomber. Due to the patch the heavy bomber has only become an even bigger target because anti-aircraft shreds it’s health faster now and with the addition of supports shooting at you with lmgs it makes it even harder to fly this bomber, it’s also the slowest so evading anti-aircraft and lmg fire is annoying. Can you make a video or something reviewing the patch and possibly come up with some counters to this new damage system? Heavy bombers are already a big target it’s not fair for anti-aircraft to have such high damage count and range against this huge bomber. One more thing, even the repair seat has been dumbed down, it doesn’t compensate for the heavy anti-aircraft damage. I would be okay with the patch if it didn’t decrease repairs and only greatly boost anti-aircraft damage.
One thing many people do not know is that the person who repairs has endless gadget. So he can throw out limpets endlessly.

I'm not a great pilot so this may be a stupid question, but why does your screen turn around sometimes when aiming? Is that normal? Because I have it as well and I think it's annoying to aim.
Voxel At The Screen its the sight orientation, when he pulls up he basically flips the plane so to compensate and not have the world looking upside down in the sight, the sight automatically flips

You don't need to pull up just keep it level, brake the bomber 3-4 seconds to slow speed and drop the main and then one or two secondary. I one-bang tanks all the time with that bomber and that strategy.

I prefere the stratigic bomber not the heavy as the stratigic bomber actually panics the player before the initial explosion
Plus a pilot who knows the plane with perfrom better when using or in other words mate you need more practice as the higher you are the more of a target you are for everyone so you need to be low for not only being harder to hit but to also have a more succesful bombing runs

you dont have to pull down to drop bombs...therefor you dont have to pull up...you just have to learn how to fly
