Not a failure at all. Just watching from a new angle. Camera looks to require more light than the phone camera. I encourage you to get more familiar with apps and settings and try bright sun/cloudy and direct sun. You can make the most of it and it is small enough that it's easy to carry. The re-frozen slush can be a pain but you seem to like the winter challenge. Snow brings many interesting textures and can be fun. Will this be you 4th winter of snowfooting ? My best wishes for the Holidays !
thank you! anyway it's a failure in terms this time i've lost a pretty decent footage while the parts i'd call rather ordinary have managed to survive. otherwise... well, yeah, the camera works and helps to have both hands free, just like i wished. and... yes, i've started my winter barefoot walks back in 2021, so you're right, it will be the fourth winter for me. gosh, how time flies!
indeed you're correct! last month i walked barefoot no more than 2-3 times per week, for around 20-40 minutes each. and even in summer i didn't go barefoot outdoors every day because, well, all this is just a small unexpected hobby for me, not a life philosophy.

How often are you barefoot? I get the feeling not often, because you found the snow uncomfortable yet it's barely below freezing.
